they did say in big text on the game screen that it come down...
It said coming down in 15 minutes... there was count down for it every 5 minutes...
Think it was nice of "trion" to that this time... hate it be four they just cut server...

15 minutes is a more than reasonable warning. Better than just pull the server Down right away and Call it emergency downtime lol.

It's nice to see Defiance following Rift's trend of announcing shutdown/maintenance on the UI screen rather than just in chat. Now they just need to fix chat so that people can keep it open.

I saw 15,10,3 minute warnings, you can't bloody miss them. So either you play on a different server/console/system, or I'm calling bullsh**.
This there was no 30 min warning, and they need to tweak the msg on screen. It got cropped at top and bottom.
