First, congrats! I thought the fight was hard too - and it took me several tries before I was able to finish it. When I did finish it -- without looking up tips or ways to beat him on the forums -- I did feel a sense of accomplishment.

To be candid though...and this is just an observation....but it sounds like your Clan is the problem. They don't sound very friendly -- or supportive.

Half the fun of being in an MMO is the social aspect...if the crowd you hang with is all about "me me me" and makes a habit of pushing others down in order to self-promote...then that is not much fun. If I were in that type of clan, I would start looking elsewhere for a more positive, social group that does things together and which does not get satisfaction out of what amounts to a form of social bullying.

Thanks everyone so far for your kind responses. It's refreshing, truely.

As a side note, my hubby bought me a Congratulations card when I'd told him about finishing him off. It was cute. I felt sooooo relieved to have finally gotten it done.
This post made me so happy to read. And you have a lovely hubby! <3

I am just about to go up against him and posts like your OP helps me keep my expectations in check, as well as prepare properly. And if at first I don't succeed I'll know it was due to Nim presenting a proper challenge.

The responses you met are, in my experience, very "young/immature". It can be disheartening to have someone steal your thunder like that, but when you think about it it is quite sad really. Those people probably need that validation to feel better about themselves. I have concluded that such people lack in confidence and are poor in achievements when they cannot allow another person have their brief moment to shine. It might be the only ego-boost they'll have that week and if someone is that starved; let them have it - they probably really need it. Throw a dog a bone. I would consider a more mature and supportive clan, to be honest.

    Congrats on beating Nim, Kadirra!

Just remember to be patient and watch for his familiar patterns. Specifically in the first section you will find that there are only a few moments that you can really hit him hard so look out for them! I basically rolled and ran in between those moments! I managed to beat him on EGO 563.

    Good Luck to all!

Pretty sure QQ = Crying or Whining. Least from my experience from chatting with friends online. Below is the Urban Dictionary Def of QQ.

    QQ
Contrary to popular belief, QQ is not a set of crying eyes. It actually originated with the advent of Warcraft II. On battlenet, you could press ALT+Q+Q to immediately exit the match and program. Thus the term "QQ" was to tell people to just quit because they are unskilled. The term later developed and lost it's origin and is usually mistaken as crying eyes.

In contemporary gamer culture, QQ has become the mainstream emoticon for crying eyes, though it is still often used in it's traditional sense.
    "Shut up or QQ!"
    "Why don't you QQ, noob?"

** Oh and Congrats on beating NIM..haven't made it to him yet. But Congrats anyway!

No Probs! I was seriously getting the hump the closer i came to having to fight him because of all the other threads of doom and gloom!
You absolutely will get frustrated but stick with it! This is what i posted in another thread......

I finally got to this battle last night! I have to say, I was all ready getting cross in my mind about facing him due to all the posts about his difficulty!

In hindsight, I actually think the fight was relatively easy, once i had figured out Nims routine. I died a couple of times on the first section and got quite cross but once i had figured it out i got through OK. The second round was to easy and the last round was again a case of working out his pattern and then going from there.

All i can say is that you need to look very carefully at the three stages and work out his routine.

I used the FRC SAW and a BMG. My power was overcharge.

On a side note, I thought the ending was ****e and the rewards also lol

Most of them are liars. These are the people who say they find Dark Souls too easy. You did it and that's all that matters. I have not got to Nim yet, I have been kind of avoiding him but I am going to have to get passed him sooner or later. Jack Leg Joe took me 4 trys. I am not a fan of bosses in games, after 3 trys I start to lose interest and get frustrated.

I beat the main story last night and Nim was not that difficult. I found the mission before Nim, killing the L.T. Dark Matter guy, to be more difficult than Nim. I beat him first try, got downed a couple of time, but never died. All you really have to do is to avoid this attacks and let loose on the ammo.. and not to forget to use your own Ego powers.

The only issue I had was that they had to add 3 rounds. The fight was kind of annoying, but overall felt pretty easy.

In the first round, I used my AR and shotgun. Second round I mostly used shotgun. And the third round I used a detonator. Worked wonders. Was done within 30 minutes with 0 death.

Yes, he may be difficult for some people, but that should be no reason to nerf him. I know you're not talking about a nerf, but isn't that a typical response? When you finally beat what took you ages, while it was for some people pretty easy? If a friend of mine would say he had a hard time, my reaction would probably be along the lines of "Hmm.. He was pretty easy imo.".
