Here's how Trion "fix's" defiance.

This has been a rather interesting thread to read, with all the profanity and insults about people's intelligence.

No-one HAS to buy bits, I agree with, a lot, and as soon as I reached the part where someone suggested 'pay to win' I cracked up. Defiance is hardly PTW, since the weapons/shields hardly change in stats anyway, as a way to make PvP fairer. Plus, someone mentioned boosts being PTW as well, even though EGO rating makes very little difference, once one considers how small an effect perks actually make. Of course, a EGO 2000 player has SOME advantage over a EGO 50, but so long as the EGO 50 has Cloak and a shotgun, (s)he's going to have a good chance still anyway. Ha, Cloak+shotgun combo. Why I've never played PvP.

As far as I care, Trion can make whatever changes they want to the game. Of course I don't want them to create some über-laser or something, but changes to the key code system are fine, as it means people can't spend their day just repeatedly doing the same emergency. It means you actually have to work towards getting the lock-boxes, and if you don't like it, then just do the logical thing, and don't play the game.

As a note, if you want to try and change the state of the game, then you probably won't have much luck. Unless of course you plan on actually joining Trion. Judging by your attitude however, I assume this won't be the case!

Edit: Yes before you tell me OP'er, I know there were more changes than just changing key code drops from emergencies, so I think you'll have to find some other thing to argue with me about. ;¬)

Would you AT LEAST suggest a way to improve the situation instead of just using the forum as a means to vent your anger towards Trion. They're hardworking and they do their best in spite of players like you harassing them.

But let's assume for a moment you are indeed telling the truth, I'd like to first thank you for your service, followed by a strong recommendation to pursue an education with the help of the G.I. Bill, so that you may spend less time on a video game message board sounding like an imbecile.

And another reason why I doubt you're a veteran. Veterans don't typically link the number of video game legendaries, level/ego rating, or idiotic quotes in their signatures. Teenagers seeking achievement do.

I'm actually taking classes and am less than a year away from my bachelors. You assuming makes you look like an dbag so how about you don't assume. This is a forum not a professional site, why would I give a **** how I sound to you. So according to you vet's cant be gamers and are not allowed to have a signature stating facts about them in the game, okay? That makes total sense why wouldn't a veteran play video games like normal people do. I sound like the imbecile? You don't read your own posts do you? Nothing you posted here makes any sense, your inferring veterans don't play video games or are proud of their stats, which is the dumbest ****ing thing I have ever heard. I see Vet's and people in the military playing video games all the time they are usually the ones highest up due to most vet's are disabled and have a ton of free time.

Nope, I'm not going to argue that fact because you seem to have read my post right for the most part and relized it's not just emergencies I'm complaining about. Although I never anywhere said you "had to buy them" I said they were trying to make us buy them.

Again, I find it hard to believe you're a veteran nearing completion of a Bachelors, judging by your behavior. It doesn't matter wither you're meeting someone formally in person, or participating in a conversation on an internet forum in anonymity, always do so by acting educated and grown up. When you start slinging expletives around, you show how trashy and/or young you are. Furthermore, I didn't say Veterans don't play games. I said Veterans typically don't act like you, because unlike you, they have actual accomplishments in life worth noting but often choose not to because of humility learned by service.
