u can rush through co-op and get keycodes after finishing them, along with 1 to 4 pieces of blue loot on average plus a lot of greens and so many whites you have to salvage some a moment while still in the instance sometimes to make room for the rest of the greens you'll pick up by the end of it. not to mention you get far more xp for it, if there are no open contracts for the emergencies they're not practical. especially when I'm omw to an arkfall I am going to run those people right over getting to it, whether they are the victims or the perpetrators.

You must be extremely lucky to get 1-4 blues every co op. I get 1 maybe every 4 or so co ops.. and yes you can rush a co op but the majority of groups dont skip cinematics and have at least 1 person not contributing... the only draw for that would be the keycodes. I can do way more emergencies and get way more xp in that amount of time.

Not trying to knock anyones opinions or say that emergencies are there specifically for the xp, my post is just how I see things.

Like if some ultra-guy comes and kills everything fast with rockets or grenades and you have pistols to have fun.. he gets majority of the reward.
But what if you like killing them with rockets and grenades?

When the world goes to shtako, someone has to clean it up.

well 1-4 was during that boost they gave us that week, I get 1 a run though about 8 times out of ten, it depends on the instance though, some have more mobs likely to drop a blue, and sometimes, not always, i can grab 2 if I'm lucky even without the boost. usually it's just one though. the 1-4 was also an example of what you could get, my most was 4, 3 a few times, but almost always just 1. I should have said that before. it's still worth more than the emergencies, plus i just find the screaming, begging, pleading extremely ANNOYING to listen to while I'm trying to kill neough crap to get to the people to untie them just to shut them the hell up. I did it for keycodes, i can't do it any longer. it's too agitating to listen to. If we had the option to behave aggressively against the 'victims' rather than being forced only to defend them even though they cannot even defend themselves (and have not shown adaptability or survival skills justifying their continued presence) I would participate again. Some of the distressed people sound so pathetic that I am tempted to kill them myself just for the sheer pleasure of it, no other reward necessary.

What they need to do to fix emergencies is to grant reputation for the emergency within the area of the contracts.

So if the Mt. Tam contracts have you killing things around Mt. Tam, if you do the emergencies in that area you should be able to earn lets say 5 credits. That way after a few EM runs you can go out and buy a mod or a weapon.

This would draw me into emergencies since they are easier to come across than the actual contracts. Considering i never know where to go to complete them but emergencies can be found all over the place.

actually that's the best idea yet, I'd rather have rep than keys as boxes 99/100 times give crap, not even blues usually let alone decent enough blues to not salvage or vendor. with rep, you can choose what to buy, and it would create a small sourc eon the side that we can farm while waiting for contracts to refresh. maybe 1 or 2 rep to related faction per event completed, with a cap of ten per day for that faction, that way people won't farm events 24/7 and we'll still be paced for the rep gains but random events will still have something to offer.

I used to feel bad about just driving past emergencies so I ended up doing a lot of them. I'd go back to hunting them if they gave rep.
