Yeh did take me awhile to complete it,was a pain.
The trick is to run around the house to the right at first then once the underground vehicle emerges hide behind it for cover and just kill the people that spawn out of it. I struggled a little until I found that trick.
Honestly I found the Bolinas Sniper and the pistol one in SF to be much more difficult. If it wasn't for the weapon loadout glitch (now fixed) I would never have been able to do Resevoir Chickens. I'm so glad I did that before they fixed that glitch.

no it's not the server message, thats yellow. this message is white and has a count down timer to it.
I just run back and forth on the left side of where you start after larger waves start coming. Hide bedind stuff when shield drops... Use scavanger skill for more ammo drops.
Had issues with this one as well, hardest one yet IMO. Swapped some perks on load out and damn near got gold first retry. Try this out:
Respark shield, scavenger, cellular armor, fortitude, thick skinned, regeneration (respark/scavenger most important)
Run-n-gun, make sure to grab ammo, and take cover only when shield breaks (preferably right after making kill so you don't lose multiplyer). Also should point out that I pretty much had spawn waves memorized by the time I swapped to this load out. Good luck, hope this helps!
90% of the Challenges are PURE GARBAGE!!! What makes it worse is they were score with a PC in mind so you can get easier kills, etc, with a mouse then controller.
Honestly as much as I like this game and want to keep playing it. The Challenges really make it hard for me to keep my interest in the game.
All I wind up doing is getting frustrated. If they do not rescore the Challenges to make them more fun and less frustrating the game's shelf life is going to be very quick for me.
