all i take from that is the the game and tv show share the same back story/timeline. nothing there says anything about strong tie ins or weekly episode missions.

just like what you do in the story in game is predetermined. stop thinking about it so literally

example:

lets just say in game some quest you blow up a bridge. in the tv show the bridge will be blown up maybe making nolan stranded.

No one in their right mind thought we'd be getting extensive new content every week. No one.

EDIT - Also, no one in their right mind thought the gamers would extensively influence the show.

Problem isnt that the y didnt add one - its that they left overall impression (false advertising) of ALOT more connectivity and content.

People who bought the game and saw the episode missions were left with the fantastic notion that this would be a regular feature. Only real problem was that no one from Trion was willing to say "...actually those are the exception and not the rule. I hope you guys like doing pursuits to compete other pursuits because we added more pursuits."

If you are going to misquote information, at least get it right. I always laugh when people cite this as fact when Tim Schafer never stated what you said. Seriously, this is almost as bad as getting news from FOX.

To the original topic at hand. Trion stated they would bring us content, and we have received content, simple as that. Unless it was stated somewhere by an official Trion representative that we would be receiving a specific type of content, then I see no reason to be mad. They said "content" and we received "content."

That's for a title update, not for a server content patch, which is what they used to remove content.
