Only real problem is no one from Trion was willing to say "...actually those are the exception and not the rule. I hope you guys like doing pursuits to compete other pursuits because we added more pursuits.

This. I was under the impression, left by those missions called Episode Missions, that additional episodes would bring additional Episode Missions. I was under the impression that the connection between the show and the game would be deeper than "we are on the same continent." Thus far those impressions are looking incorrect, and that irritates me.

Feel free to quote some random article or interview, and criticize those with such impressions as fools making assumptions and not doing their research. But Trion seems to be content to not explain otherwise, and their advertising certainly pushes the view along.

At this point I feel misled, and I know I'm not alone.

To the original topic at hand. Trion stated they would bringing us content, and we have received content, simple as that. Unless it was stated somewhere by an official Trion representative that we would be receiving a specific type of content, then I see no reason to be mad. They said "content" and we received "content."

You do see that some people see content as being a bit more substantive than what we've received, right? The reason to "be mad" is that their definition of content is grind fluff or "hunt for tapes in our lifeless world," which many of us find... maddening.

For the love of all that is holy, Pursuits are not content!!!!

For those of you who are adamant about believing Trion did what they said they was going to do, how could you screw over your fellow gamer like this. Defiance is dependant on more people being involved with the game, Co-signing this type of ******** when even the most reasonable person knows extra pursuits arent content is ruining the game, and turning off alot of people.

There is no waiting for Trion to get their **** together, they lied about beta not being like the final release, they lied about weapon in beta not reflecting the final release weapon, and now this.

Just taking money, making promises, and some people bend over take it up the *** and say "Thanks Trion may i have another"

From what I've been able to learn it costs around $40,000 to submit a Title Update to Sony or Microsoft but the difference here is Patches don't count as Title Updates. Trion can do those for no fee from Microsoft or Sony.

Sure, right after you post a quote where I demanded such a thing. I simply thought that the derth of content in this game was explained by the periodic release of additional content as the show progressed. So far what they released is what I would consider fluff or grind bait. Further, the connection to the show is tenuous after the prologue content. This also bothers me. I expected something like a new coop map, a new TDM map, perhaps a mission relating to what happened in the show. Thus far, no go.

It is early, so who knows what will happen. But dismissing our expectations as extreme is unfair.

Is anyone really surprised about this at all? It's exactly what I predicted in beta but I was told by fanboi/girls it's going to be awesome and epic. Well, I was right. Neener neener. Oh wait...I spent 200 bucks so far....#@%#% me.
