Sure ... new content after the 3rd Episode; just like they said we'd see DLC for the Xbox after the 1st mjr patch ... I'm sure someone is gonna reply by saying, "Well, they did increase the appearance of Emergency Missions" ... Whoopdeedo thats NOT new, its increasing the amount of old stuff thats getting old - fast!

That is fantastic precedent. "Thread closed due to poor English."

if only.. I also would like to see the internet used only by people who can pass a G.E.D. at 90% or better, in a smart state.(because states have different requirements for "passing") or be rich enough to have nothing less than 50 mbps connection or better..

    Speaking of Air Force!

I passed my GED in Alaska in the 98th percentile early my junior year, worked for a few years, went to enlist in the military. Air Force recruiter said, "We hit our numbers for GED enlistees, you need your diploma". So, I spent 4 weeks, doing self paced classes through the local California Adult School. Finished out my Junior and Senior Curriculum in 4 weeks. I was shocked at the disparity between the states academic standards.

The only scam is that people keep misquoting this information. Tim Schafer never stated that the certification process costs $40k, only that the entire patching process including internal development, testing, certification, etc. costs approximately that much. Some people on the Internet are just incapable of basic reading comprehension so they continue to take this information out of context.

He mentions PS3 and Xbox being costly and leaves out PC.

"I like the Xbox and the PS3. I like Sony and Microsoft, but those systems are closed and curated very closely and it costs a lot more money to go through that system, to patch a game. "

I don't bother with consoles anymore personally, but he really does make it sound like expensive patches are a console issue :P

So you didn't get the content that you thought you should have but you really were just delusional the whole time? OK, good luck it sounds like you misinterpreted a lot. Have some patience, personally I am still on the story mode so all this talk about episodic content and content not promised is quite beside the point. The real point is just playing the game and enjoying yourself, your getting to hung up on content and content this. Its a game, play it or not? Real simple huh?

Here's an article posted earlier in the thread regarding Episode Missions and here is a quote I believe is most poignant:

Some connections will be found in Episode Missions, which will probably not be added for every episode of the show, but will allow players to take part in the show’s story in some way.
The currently added content does exactly what that quote describes. Thank you.

Is that information anywhere...official? I don't check news sites for interviews on a regular basis.

Which is fair and entirely within the context of his quote. I'm not saying that the patching process for consoles is not more costly than for the PC (closed versus open networks), only that it does not cost $40k to certify a patch; something that the ignorant masses of the Internet cannot seem to comprehend.
