List of bugs/glitchs and suggestions

*Town names and locations. On the map they never say town names or location names. I always feel alone ever since the beginning of the game or if I go to an Arkfall. I never feel like I can find the "Hang out spot" There are no names really listed or towns listed. I mean when I go somewhere it comes up on my screen but bringing out the map nothing is listed at all.

It would be nice if some location names appeared on the map after you've discovered them, but I did notice that when you put the cursor over a named location (or at least some of them), the name pops up next to it, and selecting it (hitting x, IIRC) will give you the option to fast travel there.

Voice chat was absolutely atrociously bad last night when my friend invited me through the in-game invite system. His mic was cutting in & out very quickly & I should note that I play several other online PS3 games with him & I can verify that we never have a problem with voice chat in those games. Therefore, the problems lies with the Defiance PS3 beta's voice chat & not our mics.

Bugs I have encountered:

1. Voice Chat works when you join group, but cuts out after about 5 mins. When it does work, group members conversations are stuttered, and have lots of static. (Play with these people online all the time and know its not our mics)

2.Gun in my secondary slot disappears from the slot and my inventory when logging out of game and then logging back in.

3. Ark Fall event sound starts stuttering after awhile and then gets extremely loud. This issue travels with you from ark fall to ark fall event. (Very annoying when you have a large group of people shooting at the bugs and crystal)

4. Cutscenes either come up with subtitles stating work in progress and all the sounds that should be there are all spelled out. They also loop in several areas, so you see the cutscene twice in particular areas. Some cutscenes aren't synced properly so lips move when they shouldn't be.

5. Group invites disappear while you are phasing to group members, so you can all be on the same server instance.

6. When party members type in group chat it comes through twice in the chat box.

7. When pulling up the text chat keyboard, it states a 623 string error above the box.

8. When warping to a friend's server phase game spawns me in a body of water and then you drown while trying to get your bearings of where the game put you. ( Note: I was no where near water when I accepted the game invite to phas.)

9. Everytime you come out of an instance it tells you that all your PSN friends who have the game have accepted your friend invite and which friends are online. (if I'm grouped with these people I already know they are online.)

10. Using a vendor machine near Happy Pow Farm I got pulled into someone else battle when they spawned the Hellbug Monarch. My whole group got pulled away from the machine and entered into the battle.

11. I have experienced several friends characters changing from what they created into an african american male after playing the game for awhile. Its weird when you see a female character all of a sudden become a male.

Suggestions:

1. Friend list in game needs to be implemented. I don't want to fill up my PSN friend list with random people from game.

2. Making sure all group members are in the same server phase needs to be available in game and easy to do. Having to invite people from your PSN list to game, so you appear in the same phase is way too many steps and should be something that is easier to do.

3. Have more headgear than just baseball style caps. Every outfit I have received as a reward has a baseball style cap for the headgear. As a female gamer and female character I don't want to be wearing a baseball style cap with every outfit set in the game.

4. More emotes or a variety of styles for a particular emote. Everyone dances the same way in game and its kind of cheesy.

5. Having different weapon sets is great, but need an easier way to swap these sets while playing.

6. Need more places to get ammo or make it buyable from the vendor machines. (I've run out of ammo numerous times now in game and have had no drops in battles to get more or anywhere to get any.)

7. Solo instance for finding Von Bach needs to have its difficulty adjusted. Trion needs to remember that not everyone that is going to play this game is an experienced shooter player.

Nice bugs and suggestions Ciessa, I agree with everything you said in your suggestions. Except maybe for the difficulty setting. I do understand but I love having that challenge playing solo. I actually had to use all my skills and weapons to win but I feel your pain sometimes it's unbearably hard and could imagine a noobie getting frustrated.

Btw has anyone got any rewards from the arkfall events?, Also I feel like there should be Head pieces, Chest pieces, pants pieces hands and feet. I know that's typical mmo but I think it would make the loot more dense.

I've been using the in-game voice chat between my brother and I. It worked up until about an hour ago, but is generally very scratchy, and that cuts out completely once joining a co-op mission, as does chat. To join your "Group Leader" you simply hit the right button, then select group, then select yourself; at the end you'll find under your name is the option to "go to Leader." If I have any problems with this is that people don't select themselves for such an option normally, I would suggest moving the "go to leader" selection to be under said leaders name. Also... I would like to not fall through the world every time I use said function.

I wonder if cloak is bugged. I can't seem to fill the requirement for the "Snipe from the Shadows" pursuit. It says to kill someone while cloaked. No kill I've done while cloaked seem to register.
