You and me both. What the hell does Armistice Day have to do with anything in the show? I just watched the second episode and going by all the fireworks lanterns and pilgrims on the road in the game I assumed the shows episode would mention Armistice Day, the day the war with the Volas ended, and we'd see pilgrims coming to Defiance and people would be launching those lanterns. I was afraid that the link between the show and the game would be so miniscule that either no one would notice it or no one would care. And I'm afraid I'm being proven right. As it stands the show seems to be focused on the trial and tribulations of the town and people in Defiance, so how does what happen in San Fransisco have any baring on the show or vice versa?

Wasn't Armistice Day talked about in the first episode? I seem to remember Amander (the Mayor) speak to the people in Defiance about what Armistice Day was all about. Did you not watch that episode?

Actually you're right. But still, I was expecting to see some lanterns and maybe see Nolan and Irisa rescue some pilgrims on the way to Defiance. While I'm still skeptical about how much the two will be connected I'm going to reserve judgement this early in the run of both. Besides, I like the game regardless of the show.

The goals/pursuits that were available after the first episode were connected not only to the first episode but also the second one as well. I was trying to figure it out myself why there were pursuits added for 'Episode 2' yet it wasn't aired at the time, my hunch was proven correct (slightly) by reading the text above the episode two pursuits that the second episode that was aired would have something to do with Nolan & Co. doing something related to law as at the end of the first episode Amanda offered him the position of lawkeeper. I suspect that more episode related pursuits will be added before or after the next show.

All I can say for those of you who look into the episode related pursuits is to read that small piece of text above those pursuits as I believe they give small, subtle hints as to what to expect in the relevant episode.

I downloaded the first episode of the show from XBL since I don't have cable either and it's listed as Episode 1 & 2 - Pilot. Which is why I assumed they had both pursuits up together. The one that aired yesterday is Episode 3 from what I can tell. Which makes me wonder if some episodes won't have anything at all in game.

Keep in mind that the town Defiance doesn't exist within the game itself yet, which is where episode 3 pursuits would most likely be located no doubt. But I have an idea that this may come to pass sooner or later. I'm curious as to how Trion intends to keep the game up to date with the show but with how they handled the pursuits for the first and second episodes I'd say they've got it pretty good, just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Nolan and Irisa were already in Defiance...
