I agree the whole idea of the industry live action to bring in new users was amazing plus for us already fans we get a beta countdown genius.

I've been chipping away at the alien script on the Von Bach Industries site...with a couple of exceptions, the letters are used as a 1:1 cipher for the English language. Not sure if this has shown up elsewhere or if others have been tackling it, but if someone wants to take a stab at the hexagonal language, the two YouTube videos on Von Bach Industries give a good jumping off point. defiance_language_partial_decode.jpg

This is so much further ahead then any mmofpsrpg then I can think of, and it blows firefall out of the water. For 2 years firefall has been making sloooooooooow progress on pvp balance, classes and pve content. and they just announced another from the ground up rework of pvp..... So yeah. Defiance is now my #1 shooter title of 2013.

I will even add another few months of sub to rift if I can get into beta.

I left a response on that page that can hopefully help some who are getting stuck.
