Yet Amanda, the mayor, has had contact with the E-REP so obviously there is a communications method. Why wouldn't Nolan say something, and even if he feared Varus finding out where he is just have it listed as an anon source traveling out of the area. There has to be transports or that Gulinite would be worthless if it never left the bay area.

There are a number of holes like this which could very easily be references in the TV show and give us a feeling of connection with Nolan, who we did help, and who seems genuinely concerned for people and Defiance.
I think the main reason for very little crossover so far has to do with the first season being shot and done with before knowing what's going on in the game. It's gonna be a slow start, I've read on Twitter that Season 2 will have much more crossover between the two.

And I happened to like the character and backstory development done in Episode 2.. it'll make the rest of the series (and by extension, the game) have a more filled out and complete lore, as well as giving us all a reason for what we're really doing in Defiance/San Fran other than driving over hellbugs, pulling headshots on raiders, and wondering why in the world a Hulker pukes from under it's skullcap?!

Ok.. now all the normal haters who want to call me a "fanboy" or whatever.. you can commence with your "I have nothing better to do than troll the forums and pick on people who LIKE anything that I don't" skullduggery.
yea the thing about going up with the WWE on monday nights is there are some matches in that timeslot that is kinda boring so i can actually see that happening almost. But personally not gonna say i didnt like episode 2, i mean i still liked it but it was off from ep 1. Now if they really want to boost the ratings put the show on thursdays to compete with TNA LOL

That was one thing I did notice, in both the game and show:

Prior to the games release (and even before the first beta stress test).. one of the keynotes was "you may have to do X in San Fran to help put that on a train to St. Louis".

Ok.. cool.. weekly bump help, I like that. Now granted, I'm sure that logistically it would be a nightmare to pull off, since the shows are pre-recorded. However.. one thing would help with that summation: A TRAIN STATION! There's not one in Defiance or SF! *evil grin*

I would agree with this if not for the fact that the story is being written collectively between the game and the TV show. They would have known how they were going to get Nolan the "what's it" in the game as part of the TV show. I would be very surprised if the New freedom was a pst TV taping construct as it plays a significant role in the Game and in Nolan and Irisas story arc.

There is a train in Defiance, it is what the old Mayor was riding in at the end of episode 1 and Amanda makes mention of talking to Ara Shandu (sp) about extending the line out west as well.

I'd have to agree. WWE Raw (the monday show).. just hit it's 1,000th CONSECUTIVE EPISODE. That's massive. No other show in TV history has ever done that. So going up against it, you don't expect 3's and 4's from the antiquated Neilson system.. you expect 2's if you've got a good show. For example, the other 2 offerings on SyFy in the Monday slot.. Lost Girl and "Being Human".. both routinely hit in the low to mid 2's per week.. and both where just picked up for a FOURTH season (something that SyFy isn't known for doing). So.. perhaps someone at SyFy is understanding the juggernaut their facing in WWE's RAW in that time slot, and going "Hey.. We took a bite and got Mid-2's.. that's pretty damn good!"

Now.. if they moved to Thursdays.. they'd be competing with Greys Anatomy as well as TNA.. and that's ALMOST as bad as facing off with RAW. Perhaps if they moved it to Wednesday, where it's all reality crap shows that are going down the crapper, it'd get some really stellar reviews

Yup.. I heard that.. but was that what the old Mayor was on? Hmm.. ok.. must have sneezed and missed it I'm looking forward to that part, where I can do something to help affect an outcome in the show. Hopefully they don't let us have too much, or the drama's going to be sidelined by the gamers..lol We *WILL* achieve the desired and required outcome everytime.. gamers don't exactly know how to fail
