that pretty ironic given that your sig uses art from evga and the name of their motherboard app, evga ofc who don't do amd anything.

It would have made more sense to go 2 way 680 at around the same total cost but if you bought them separate then I can understand. Very nice setup though! My commendations to you. Will you be moving to the next series of Nvidia cards or sticking with the 6 series until the 8 series comes out?
I brought them day 1 all at once but i'm not going with the 700 series just not worth it a little bit faster so i'm waiting to 800 series next year or so.I paid 1200 for all 3 being FTW version got them running at 1300mhz.

you may want to look into some tweaks for your case, like sealing, and doing a pass through filter system (cheap) or hermatically sealing and dropping it in oil (Not for this rig, for something new and insanely oc'd)

also.. you got ur i5 running at 4ghz, but left the ram at 1600? I suppose it has a latency of 11----?
    Funny thing about this. ...

My PC has more dust in it than West Texas. I have had 0 heating issues, 0 cooling issues, 0 issues in general for 18 months now since I built it. Considering I build a new PC every 2 years, I'm rather extatic. Although, I might actually blow it out sometime soon.

I don't think you know what "filthy" looks like!

No its not upside down, have you never seen a high end gaming case with the PSU at the bottom so it doesn't need to eat all the hot air from the other components?

And I5's can be Oc'ed like mad with very little extra heat issues, especially since he has a closed loop water cooler on it its not an issue. (It hardly adds any real performance tho but it sure helps the e-peen)
OC'ing ram is plain stupid and asking for trouble, you can go google as much as you want for ram overclocking and you will find 99.998% of the time no matter how crazy you OC the ram and mess with the timings it has almost no effect on anything from gaming to rendering to pure processing functions. What it does do VERY well is cause the computer not to start at all or randomly BSOD when you least want it too.

Anyway time to add my e-pee contest entry!

    Oh I almost forgot!!
Monitor: Samsung 24" 16:10 (Because 1080p is for noooobs that never seen a 24" 4:3 monitor in their short lives and think everything is supposed to be flat and wiiide like a short fat girl)

not hatin'.. and look at my sig concerning management. fact is, I run my proc at 4.8ghz and ram at 2400mhz and I am 100% air cooled with some really smart heat dispersion options.. not a single issue, because unlike people who google how2build I make a living doing it.

not mine( this is an image of the "mini"), but gives you an idea of my antec skeleton.. it's like playing from a bench, with the ability to slide out the mobo/cards and swap out parts rapidly (because that is what I also do, I demo a lot of stuff). For this case the psu is less than 1/2" from the mobo underneath it. BUT... I draw air from an outward (cooler) direction than drawing the air from inside the case, which is still warmer (not that it's an issue.. the airflow for this frame is damn near 100%..).

    again.. read sig.

pc's.. except for most of those crap cans made by "dellienware" , can be as different as people.. some go buy some standard car off the lot.. while others grab up a slew of different parts and try to make a work of art or something competitive...

nothing else matters.. a pc is more than those 3 things.. it's the sum of all the parts AND how you've lay them out, the design and management of it all.. that would be like bragging about having a v-12 in your garage.. but it has no car to run in.. or worse still, you put it in a pinto somehow and feed it low grade 87'......
