First supposed DLC date?

Welcome to MMO's, they always have bugs but at least they are very active in getting things fixed. I'm happy they are trying to fix the major bugs first before releasing any new DLC, very good decision on their part. It will come soon I'm sure so just be patient. I want to get the season pass but I'm not sure how far down the road all 5 dlc's will go.

I'm puposly not really buying anymore games this gen (for my Xbox anyways) because I'm just saving for the next Xbox and whatever good games launch with it. So I want this game to last me the summer but I'd hate to buy the DLC and then not play half the DLC if the bulk of it is coming out near the end of the year.

Guess I will wait and see how all of these factors end up, now if only MS would finally do the reveal for the next Xbox.

They stated 2-3 weeks after the big patch, this was putting the release of the first DLC to be around the 7th of May, but i read that due to unforseen problems they have pushed it back another week to iron out some bugs and glitches, so my guess is around the 15th of May you will see it at the latest.

I would love it to be May 15th. What a better way to celebrate a birthday then with Defiance DLC

I'm patiently waiting to see what they drop for the first DLC. I'm still enjoying current content so no need to rush DLCs just for the sake of getting them out on the market.

and where did you hear that? the 15th was meant to be a big patch not dlc >< they have said the 1st dlc will b in may they never said the 15th

I swear I've read it multiple times on the forums, but I could be wrong. It was supposed to coincide with the patch.

Oh and for the several other comments here about "it's only been a month", that's just not the way content works anymore. They already had the first DLC done before ever shipping this game. Withholding content prior to a game's release and charging for it later is common practice nowadays by developers/publishers.

I'm assuming they haven't released the DLC because of the uproar it could cause, considering this game's current state.

Hell, its barely been three weeks. I am still confident this game has a bright future, but not nearly enough time has passed to be sure

I avoided the season pass because for some reason I can't even put a finger on this game reminds me Hellgate:London. They offered a lifetime subscription for a one time price. A little over a year later the game folded and the US servers shut down. I hear it made a come back a couple of years ago but I've since jumped ship from PC to Xbox. Anyway, people got really hyped about Hellgate and the game dumped after a short period of time. I figure Defiance is either going to be a moderate success in the mmo realm (mostly because of consoles) or it's going to burn up spectacularly like Hellgate. And I'm not willing to bet the farm just yet.
