Please fix the voice chat

this game is amazing im really enjoying it as are my friends we group up run around together and do arkfalls and such... that being said it is very frusterating not being able to comunicate. if you resolve any issues im sure all ps3 users will agree voice chat is priority #1. thanks

I'm sure its related to the BETA and that they are aware of it. I have no doubt it will be fixed. That being said it amazes me, that to this day, with all the prior experience developers have that we still have voice chat problems online. Its 2013

If because Sony dont have voice chat build in. One reason Im gonna go with the xbox on this game. But I am enjoying the beta.

Devs said the voice chat is turned off on purpose for this beta, why I don't know but I agree it should be turned on not all of my friends have Skype

I'm not sure what you mean by this comment. Every MP game I have played on PS3 I have been able to use comms to communicate with other players. Also, in another thread I read that this has been confirmed as fixed in the in the retail version. I didn't see a source link, but i take their word for it. I'm not trying to call you out or disrespect you, just trying to understand what you posted.

Actually it has been a known issues for MMO on PS3s. Always takes devs a while to figure out. Dust, DCUO and now Defiance. Im hoping this will be fixed on retail

if they don't fix the PS3 voice chat during the beta phase, I won't be pre-ordering and in fact will wait until post-release to ensure voice chat is working before buying it.
Sorry... but I've been burned on too many PS3 games where voice chat was either not fixed for months and months (UT3) or where it was never fixed and is still a hit or miss thing (Ghost Recon).

I've heard people talk, voice chat is not off...
