The game hasn't run as smoothly as it did since beta.
It gets frustrating to try to run things like Time Trials where time matters and to have sporadic lag every time the boost is used. I can understand a few bad server days, but it has seriously never been the same performance, not even close to how it ran in beta. I have done everything I can on my end to increase performance but it isn't enough to make up for the game's instability. Very disappointing...
not so much lag as the graphics aren't loading right. get to an area, see all the terrain, my minimap is full of red dots, i die... no enemies ever drew in. stay down on the ground... and just before the timer is up, every thing draws in and i find out i was standing in the middle of 3 elites. and as they aren't drawing in, firing blindly won't register any hits (since the bullets never hit a model as the models don't yet exist).
it's pissing me off enough that i refuse to do any non-main story quest. can't even do arkfalls without having to wait almost a full minute just to see the arkfall crystal itself.
dunno if that's lag or a horrifically untested graphics engine, though.
i had no lag untill the patch on the 16th? now my instances lag for the first 1/2 of it the rest is fine aside from other players lag stop and then pop out way ahead on group in open world but that rarely happens
Pretty much since the major patch last week and when the show started to air, the game has shown noticeable lag symptoms. Prior to those two events the game never lagged for me, but after that major patch I was seeing myself warp backwards whilst driving, difficulty turning my vehicle at times. Certain head shots completely missing. Getting killing shots on arkfall bosses even when I'm reloading my gun! None of that stuff happened before or at least wasn't noticeable, now I see it sporadically but frequent enough for me to notice it

now imagin if all the players who got the game and still cant play, were all on now it would lag even worse cus somebody droped the ball and lauched the game way too early.

I saw a Scrapper walking backwards today... I'm recording it with FRAPS next time so we can all laugh...
Playing from the otherside of the world, yes about 1 sec lag surprisingly.
I did leap out of my charger only for the thing to land on top of shed with a nearby 99er, then because of the server client communication issue all I saw was my Charger vibrating rather violently against the shed and it looked like it was trying to hump the goldrusher.... it was very laggy last night on EU servers...models were not loading right and things were disappearing during arkfalls.
Haha yeah.. try playing the game from Australia..
