EU cant play on US servers

Yeah, thats what I was thinking going on what's already been said. I hope you can select different regions on the 360 coz I work nights and do most of my gaming during the day when everyone's at work!

So how do you select servers on the PS3? Does it do it automatically or do you see a list of available servers to select from?

I'm assuming it'll automatically connect you to a server in your own region, but there will be a option to select other servers if you want

There is not option like that on the ps3 , I hope it is in the xbox version. IF not I will be force to cancel this game.

They have said that we WILL be able to play with friends on servers that aren't in our region. So i can play with americans on American servers even though im from the UK. I don't know if you'll need an invite or if we can browse the servers, but it doesn't matter really, because we will still be able to play with friends over seas

I really hope it doesn't automatically throw you into the server corresponding with the region of your Live ID, because when I created my Live account I was living in the US. Now I'm in Germany, but obviously I still use it as my main account.

people moan about the oddest of things. I understand there is a small player base who would prefer to play other regions, be it for work, kids or just their love of everything 'Murica! But if thats the case you'll have to get around the region system on the consoles and not the game. Xbox/PSN control regions on their side, Trions server accept all pings. Its not a lock from the consoles as such more a preference.

So you CAN play with your friends but you might need a new region account and if your moaning about paying for another xbox account at less than five pound a month then I'm sorry your probably to young to play this PEGI 12 game, Subway sarnies cost more than ****ing xbox gold.

We knew this, regions don't cross there is no such thing as a 'global' server, data dosn't travel by magic it needs a infastructure that can sustain it. Unless trion has their own fibre laying machine then you'll need another account on the NA region.
