Is it just me, or are these missions getting impossible?

i think its a bug personally.sometimes im steaming along then all of a sudden the mobs become supermen.normally its a diffrent mission,sometimes others are there sometimes not
the second playthrough definatly seems harder but easier at the same time.

but the bug im finding is that the supermen ai sometimes have superhuman targeting.thank god they no longer follow you to your respawn and kill you there as well,or somehow fasttravel with you or chase you down when your on your roller,or are not there at all but thier bullets.

when this happens i log and it seems to correct itself.i also carry no script,so respawning isnt so big a deal,only time lost.

I hate those triple shot grenade Elite guys with the crazy fast shield recharging. Oh man those guys tick me off to no end, their aim is too perfect. I also hate when I you don't roll as it doesn't catch the second button press or whatever, so that you are moving slowly while crouched getting shot lol. Heck I don't know, maybe that last one is just me

I think definitely a little tougher in San Fran , take note if there are other players near you spounging quest updates . I am pretty sure more stuff spawns if someone is driving past you or close by when you engage an area . Had few people cruise through a dynamic quest on me ,not sure if they trained adds or a ton more spawned but it got ugly real fast =0

I started out using overpower but have recently been using decoy and it seems to serve my play style a lot better. I've also been using all of the "extra shield" and "extra health" perks but I'm not seeing any real benefit there so I'm going to experiment more with my perk load outs. I also might start looking up character builds online. While perks seem to be a minor influence on the game some players seem to put a lot more stock in some more than others so I'm going to look into that.

Try getting some other people to group with you and help. This is an mmo and they are not designed to be played solo in a lot of missions.

i actually found the missions (save for those annoying rampages) to be pretty easy-not on face value but in that i didnt really need help with any of them....in an mmo(not whining just saying). but i do admit that running and gunning SF quests will be death upon death, best idea is to play tactically rather than overly-aggressive

At this point I am almost used to dying several times while attempting any mission, but since the patch it has become insane. Finally just turned off my console and gave up on one mission in San Francisco, the side mission Deliver the Bomb. No less than five mutant mini gunners spawned right on top of me. Before I could get away, I am deader than disco. Tried to do finish off the mission ten times, but as soon as I drop one, another shows up. Only have the last bomb to plant, but its just not happening. And thanks to so many spawns, the lag ends up preventing me from even reloading.
Its not just that mission, but pretty much all of them. Its like ramming my head into a brick wall repeatedly and really is killing game play. Its just not fun.
Anyone else having these issues?

never had issues with the missions in this game. Infact they are way too easy so yeah the problem is you.

Missions in San Fransisco are definately a lot tougher than the we're across the bridge and the game doesn't really do too good of a job preparing you for Dark Matter troops, who in my opinion are some of the cheapest enemies I've ever faced in a game. A lot of times when I die during a mission all the enemies who were around when I went down are wiped when I get back to the area so I don't know what to tell you there, except either find some help or lurk in the area until someone else is doing it and then team up. That's how I managed to get a couple of the harder missions, including the one you're stuck on, completed.

Yep, they can snipe you with pistols even though your sniper rounds don't register at the same distance. They need to balance things better.

Nope not just you. I see lots of people getting stuck trying to roll. I've gotten stuck trying to roll as well. The worse the lag is the worse you'll get pummeled.

Ya know when ya drive into a mission area real fast, the **** looks deserted, no one around then BAM! mother****ers are all around you and there is 0 cover, and even when you get into cover, mother****ers spawn BEHIND you.. /faceplant
