Spend 5 bucks and get yourself a skillboost for Self, Group, and Clan. The Clans are borked right now, but it will still apply to you, giving you a 22% boost to weapon XP. Get 3 other people with that 5% Group Boost and you've got a total of 37%. Helps it go by sooooo much faster.

The boosts will only cost you about $5 too, so you can't whine about overpricing.

    Y'all whine too much.

I picked up a protector and found the shield to be really lacking. I can't speak for anybody else, but I had to stand still to activate it and it didn't seem to do all that much. I used a VOT spanner maxed out with mods and it tears through lower-level enemies like butter. Also good to keep on hand for hellbug events.

so does anyone know how the BMG can be used to Boost EGO powers?

that is something mentioned in the description on the Official Website...does it recharge them or something?

They don't boost ego powers. That was probably an old feature they ended up scrapping.

I wouldn't know how ... if anything they aid your EGO power less, since they're never really reloaded and can't deal critical kills.

they can deal critical kills, it's just very tricky to do so.

I haven't quite worked out how I did it, but I've done so a few times. I THINK that if the very first hit from a BMG stream is a headshot, then all the rest of the damage for that stream will be critical for the purposes of Critical Kills. but I am not sure.

but I do know, I've seen the Orange Damage numbers using my BMG and I've seen Critical Kills as well.

It's along those lines - it's as if the stream is taken as hitting wherever it first hit. So aim and open fire at a point that's normally a critical hit and it does do critical damage.

+1 that's exactly how they work. Tip for humanoid target aim above the head then pull the trigger (works for me anyway).

Rapid question to stingray users (since i tried them maybe too rapidly) : Do the stingray just not link to other targets, that's the reason why i ditched them for the awesome telespanner (ooh i miss my first purple one). max rang + max link seems the way to go for me to xp them ?
