I certainly hope they are, or else this game will be quite much the same with Rift.
Developers not caring about the community, ruining the pvp entirely and whatnot.

The least the could do is go through the support tickets at a faster rate. It can't be that hard.
Customer support, especially, when the customer has already paid, should be fast, and in most cases it is. If not instant.

Items disappearing shouldn't be ignored. I don't have infinite time to play a game, and when I work hard to get a decent gun I like, and it suddenly disappears, and I get absolutely no response from the customer service, yes, it's going to piss me off. As I've already mentioned, this is something I could expect from a free to play game.

And have I updated my software? Such as? Defiance? Graphics drivers?

    edit:

I know. I am glad I am not subscribed monthly.
However, I have around 2ish hours to spend for games a day, for I have to work and have a social life with my family, too, so items I'd really like to keep for a quite long time disappearing is certainly something I don't enjoy.

Unexpected issues should be compensated with efficient customer support and effective solutions, instead of ignorance.
I doubt Trion has the time to worry about a guy losing 2 weapons when they just released a game this ambitious on three platforms and are working on major patches and releasing dlc. Non legendary weapons are a dime a dozen in this game.

If they don't have time, they should get some time.
You know that customers are what are going to keep the game alive, and I'm not the only one with this issue, it's rather common? Pissed off community ain't going to stick around for long, you should know that.
Items going missing is one of the largest problems I can imagine an MMO could possibly have, and if it's combined with blindfolded staff, well, might as well as start digging a hole for their ambitions.
Glad that's not the case, as people earlier have already mentioned, they are working on it and compensating.

Perhaps you were "trolling" or something, but hey.

Good set of words, exactly my thoughts, the problems aren't exactly minor.

If it only worked for me. Unfortunately, for some reason, I can click the button "submit request" or whatever it might possibly say, and then it opens this small-ish window, and that's telling me something about server errors. Is it only for US IP Addresses? That might be the case.

You'll get to talk directly to a GM in a much more timely fashion and they should take care of you. Don't get all ragey on them, just tell them your problem as straightforward as possible and you should get good results. Its much faster than in game tickets and you'll be able to see exactly where you are in line to be served.

They supposedly fixed the missing item thing last patch (unless you're on PS3) but I can't confirm one way or another if the bug is really gone or not. The only time I got hit with it was a few weeks ago and Live Chat took care of me.
    +1

Live Chat has fixed every problem I've run into that wasn't specifically limited by the code preventing them from doing it.

Check your pop-up blocker. If it's on it will block the chat window from working. I had to use Internet Explorer as well. It doesn't like Chrome for some reason.

Trion is working their hardest to get the problems with the servers fixed. There were unexpected issues that could not be found in an enclosed alpha/beta test stage that are still being worked out. Please just be patient and give them time to fix it.
They're working on the bugs sure, but I wouldn't say they were burning the candles at both ends like they were during the initial launch week. I hate to be cynical but I'm pretty sure most of the people who are ever going to play Defiance are already playing and since there's no subscription fee there's no real incentive for them to work like crazy to fix bugs. If they were why do we still have the Project Aegis pt.1 bug? Or the "disappearing gear" bug. And my all time favorite which I've been spreading the word about the workaround "the frozen character screen-empty primary weapon slot-can't change weapons during game-can't switch load outs" bug. For the record if you happen to encounter that last one just find a weapon dropped as loot and pick it up/automatically equip it, this will unlock your character.

Thanks for the tip! I'm on queue at the moment. Hoping to get the issue resolved just tonight.

The Trion of Defiance is the other Trion. The one that doesn't deserve the Trion name or its connection with quality and completion.
yes but it wasnt multi platform or a shooter so everyone has time to adapt like if i throw you into the sea and no where near land i dont expect you to evolve into a manfish

For we make a stand for what we believe. You never fight this war alone.
