Weapon Skills not Leveling

Castiel seems to be one of those people with blinders on that refuses to acknowledge the issues even when they are presented in an easy to understand format.

I specifically stated that no matter how many weapons I am maxing the skill for those weapon proficiencies will NOT accrue. I have since maxed out 3 LMGs but my LMG skill is still where it was at patch day last week. I have finished nearly all the side missions at my current point in the story and I constantly run emergencies.

Arkfalls not giving weapon EXP is a flawed design choice in my opinion because it is where most people will choose to spend their time later on in the game. Nevertheless, it IS an issue if my skills stay where they are. These incremental bonus' are the only real difference that separate us from one another. Without these skills continuing to grow I am left at a disadvantage in the late game; not by much but enough that it is unfair.

That does sound like a bug since your swapping out weapons.

Maybe more screen shots could be more convincing.

Could you take a shot of a gun your currently leveling along side that the skill level of that gun type. Run San Quentin till you level that gun and take another shot of it and your skills.

Time stamps on game play to so you can prove your not just reposting the same old pick.

I believe you and your issue. This is for all the none believers.

Not to beat a dead horse but since day one we were told of this mechanic. You can't get to level 20 with any weapon type by using the same gun. You have to switch as soon as THAT gun is maxed out. If you do, you'll find that you will still gain XP.

Think about the situation in real life. At some point after training with a gun you have learned everything you can on how to use that weapon (say an AR). However if you want to get better at using AR's you get to other AR's so that you learn what are good and bad about them. So you gain experience with more guns in order to become more versatile with AR's in general.

That makes sense, even if it means you don't get to use your same gun. Max that weapon type so it won't matter. It's not hard to get to level 20 with a weapon type, you just have to level 20 guns of that type. Just level the ones you like, and toss the ones you don't.

Stop raging like a little kid and learn. I am switching guns as soon as I max the EXP on it. I maxed my VBI Thunder LMG and switched to a FRC SAW. When I maxed that out I moved on to a Frontier SAW. All 3 maxed and yet my LMG skill is still the same as it was last week. I understand the revolving gun mechanic they want you to use. But when it does not work for me at all, then what's the point?

I don't know what is worse no response at all from Trion or having to read the same responses over and over from people that can't even take the 2 seconds to read the OP.

I hope they fix this issue I have a character that is having the same issue for some reason it is only one character and not any others. If it was the "main" character I played I would be just as mad.

Press Alt+Enter it will put you in Windowed mode then press Prt Scr and paste it into whatever image program you wish. When you go back to the game press Alt+Enter again and it will go back to full screen again.

Now now no need to get testy bro take a breather and calm down dont try and take your frustration out on me. Not my fault you have poor english skills since you said nothing about specific weapon types when you said

After the first large patch all of my weapon skills seemed to even out their EXP by rounding down. Since then I have not been able to get ANY of them to level, regardless of how many weapons I am maxing.

hence my reply second reply. If you had said something along the lines of "No matter how many Assault Rifles I max out I can't get passed lvl 4..." then its clear that there is a bug but if you just say "I have not been able to get ANY of them to level, regardless of how many weapons I am maxing."(just used bold to identify the quotes, got lazy =P) that is very general and open to interpretation/assumption.

Now that we have that english lesson cleared up and you finally delved into specifics we can see that you do seem to be suffering from a bug.

I understand having bugs like this can be frustrating but the ticket is still open which means that Trion has not forsaken you and closed the ticket with out trying to resolve the issue so how about being patient and give the support center time to work on it. Yes customer service for games can seem very slow and unhelpful but you they are working on replying to tickets on their own time frame not yours. It is an unpleasant truth but the truth non the less. When it comes to dealing with big companies you got to get accustomed to being made to wait in most cases(yes there are exceptions but those dont come around that often).

Maybe play in window mode so your taskbar will show.

Or do a /played in chat to show time played then time after.

I know people at any level could say you are just making it look like your nothing leveling but to put THAT much work to fake people out would seem less realistic than your issue being true.

LOL first of all "bro" is an accepted abbreviation of the word/noun used to refer males in a friendly manner and second of all it is clear that in context the non versus none issue is a typo if you knew how to read properly and thirdly you should reread posts before you chose to comment on them because you clearly didn't grasp what I was saying in my last post.
