Hackers ruining the game

I seen a few in ps3 pvp couple arks and coop. I just try to ignore them and tickets i gave up on. They will sooner or later get them but to easy for them to get back on how it is... Reminds me of dark souls. Hope they keep nailing them sooner or later they will move on.

permament ban imo. when you buy a game you agree with terms.

Exactly, giving small penalties is only a waste of time, cheaters won't stop over a temp ban.
Heck, even the majority of permanent banned D3 users just go and buy the game again.
I'm thankful for that there is no auction house and other economy in Defaince!

yea i've been spending sometime apart from dark souls and its occasional hacker, only to play defiance and hear some brats are doing it again. I don't really understand why its done it must be a juvenile thing where they can't really substantiate a reason, anarchy and all that "look how stupid I am! i completely miss the point! F U?" I could have prefaced all this with "its just a game" but that in itself also underlines the mental obliviousness these individuals exhibit by actually spending their lives finding purpose this way.

Wonder if this is why some arkfalls are getting bugged and never finishing. Had three in a row that had the crystal blow up in the first minute or so and the bugs just kept spawning until the timer expired.

I can confirm that as of this morning....during a major arkfall the crystal was one-shotted in the first 2 minutes and the same thing happened - bugs kept on coming until the timer ran out - the matriarch kept respawning but there was no big big boss.

I guess this happens if someone kills the crystal before the boss progression gets to the point where you are SUPPOSED to be able to destroy the crystal?!? I dunno - that part is conjecture.

Oh also there were no rewards given out at the end of the Arkfall

I'll just put this out there as common sense has gone the way of the dodo. You see the hacker, report them. don't like the score, report them. Want to b*itch about a 99 million damage score, REPORT THEM. Doesn't matter how long they get suspended, if 20 people complain about the same person something will be done.

The game has JUST LAUNCHED. Devs have enough issues to deal with then look for hackers. Report them or your going to have to deal with it. Its like a bunch of kids getting their jollies over you cause they know you'll get mad. Report them. Plain and simple.

The guy with all the I's in second there is #1 or 2 on all the Time Trials too, or was a few weeks ago, and not by a small amount of time either.

To be honest a 24 hour ban is not enough, give them a week or something at first. Second time a month and third for ever. People need to understand that ruining the game for others should not be rewarded with a lot of xp.

For what it seems, the bans are progressive up to permanent.

They should just make it a permanent ban for the first offense. Do the same thing Microsoft does if you get caught cheating on Halo...Ban the player, the system, and anything attached to their name so they can't even play again if they buy another copy of the game.
