Defiance Shop Question

I am looking for some answers regarding the shop items, especially if they are bound to the player account or to a single character from that account. It is clear that both options are possible. Several items from the archfall codes are available to every character, whereas others are not.

I already know that inventory enhancements are only bound to the actual character (which is a pity) as well as bought lockboxes (which makes sense). But what about clothing? I would really know this before even bothering with buying one of the rather expensive sets.
