ITT a player cries about getting shot when rolling around and hoping around like a mad man...
Use cover, move from cover to cover, do not run around in a big group of enemies and then cry about getting shot... If you've noticed, the accuracy and damage between raiders and 99ers goes up and then from 99ers to the Mercs (forgot their name atm) goes up. The game gets "harder".

The game can be a challenge at times, which is one of the things I enjoy about Defiance. But I don't think the AI in this game should be nerfed. Too many gamers want everything handed to them on a silver platter. They want to OHK everything and everyone (I'm not referring to the OP).
I don't really mind the insane accuracy of mobs, I mean these enemies are for the most part ex-military/grew up during a major war/ enhanced to be perfect soldiers etc. And they're out in the wasteland making a living raiding farms and mines so yeah, they'd be good shots. I wouldn't mind if they stopped shooting to reload once in a while though. And a dedicated cover mechanic, even one as primitive as the one in GTA 4 would certainly make the combat feel a lot better and I'd be more engaged.
Cover's all well and good WHEN THERE IS COVER.
Trapped in a room guarding someone while mobs rush in on at least 2 side, both melee and ranged? Good luck with that. Continuously pushed back by shotgun/rush mobs at a large camp until you are outside the area with preplaced cover and into the no mans land between the camp and the nearest hill? Good luck with that. Approaching an enemy camp and want to snipe, but once you start the dark matter just throws up energy shield walls and starts unloading elemental SMGs into you and you have 200 meters of flat land to cover between you and them? Good luck with that. The aimbot becomes painful at times and anyone that says it shouldn't be nerfed is kidding themselves.
That said, you can nerf the aimbot to take out the annoying bits without turning the rest of the game into a cakewalk. Just give enemy accuracy a sliding scale based on distance. You know, like they have in every other game. You can even leave out snipers. People trapped in enemy groups should be getting hammered, but dudes with SMGs shouldn't be a threat 200 meters away behind a very visible but very no clip segment of the environment.
