I know what original post means, perhaps not 'nerfin' but we have a a bad hit box accuracy(in a pc anyways) their bullets go through rocks and walls. and they can shoot through trucks its just feels very gimmped the further you get into the game and upgrade your weapons.

what boggles me is Borderlands 2 has awesome accuracy and you would think TRION wants borderland player base- but we notice these faults immediately, so i understand OP.

for a shooter game (and iam not a shooter game expert, for me to notice these things -ats bad!!)

dont get me started on boss mechanics. compared to borderlands2 this dosent feel polished.
    and yes iam comparing it!

Common sense is in common enough anymore to be called that.

I'll agree with the accuracy needs to be dealt with and those that think otherwise should st.fu.. Its not about the game been easy and so on, its about the fact that the AI is using aimbot tracking and no matter where you go, they hit you without missing. If you watch them closely, they shoot out the side of their guns if you run circles around them... The grenading mutants, can shoot a grenade 180 degree's behind themselves to hit you, if your friend is distracting them from the front. The Raider Tanker, tracks you no matter where you go, so if you run behind cover just before he begins blasting out his 3 missiles and plan to come out behind him on the other side. He will be facing you, to blast you in the face with his 3rd rocket... That means aimbot accuracy is set to 100% tracking condition and is not correct, as sure the bad guys can "know" your behind stuff, but they shouldn't know where your moving while behind a wall, but they do.

Running into a group of raiders in the open, rolling down a hill to avoid being hit does nothing, they hit you with each bullet and you die. The 99er's grenade lobber (big)guy, can lob grenades from his gun, 1km away from himself, perfect ark in the air and land between your legs. It's just not properly coded, the AI cant miss at all, and that's what this post is getting at. I don't care if you think the game is easy, or you can duck and roll. The problem is, unless I'm allowed to shoot out the side of my gun and hit AI 90 degrees to my left (and this is not lag), then the AI shouldn't be allowed to do it either. Dont know what I'm talking about? Have a friend distract some bad guys, then you start shooting them from behind or side as they run at your friend. The AI will run at your friend for about 2 seconds but his bullets will hit you, and come out the side of his guns, or in case of the mutant grenader, he will shoot through his own back while facing your friend. Then will turn and look at you to keep firing.

I didn't know they'd modified aim accuracy of the AI, but it now explains why things suddenly seemed "off" last night. Hiding behind cover is completely useless. If it were actually possible to snipe from cover (through holes in walls or between pillars, for example) that might be helpful, but as it stands, you're forced to expose more pixels than you'd like to to get a clear, unobstructed shot and those pixels serve as homing beacons to everything the AI has in their arsenal (regardless of weapon range it seems). The AI also manages to shoot through and around obstacles with their magic bullets. I'd love to have the endless supply of magic bullets these AI have.

While I agree with you, Trion seems to disagree

This is why there are people who mod damage on their weapons. Doesn't the perfection of the grenadiers accuracy oif you can deliver 50000 damage in one shot.

There is definitely a concern with the AI accuracy. Its also not about making the game easier. Im most certainly in the camp where things should be hard but its the way the difficulty is presented. Its the wrong way to increase difficulty.

Certainly any changes to AI accuracy must follow an update to the overall quality of the AI. The current system is most troublesome with previously mentioned issues such as grenades or smgs from a long way away.

Somewhat linked to this in an inability to hide from the AI. The other night i was fighting some of those scrapper groups with the little guys backed up with one big guy. I use cloak and a sniper rife with an lmg alt weapon. I was fighting the mobs then i cloaked (the mobs stayed around where id dissapeared) and moved away behind a rock totally out of sight of the mobs. As soon as i dropped cloak the mobs came running towards me. They knew exactly where i was even though id entered cover without them being able to see me.

Defiance is easy but still the perfect aim "lazy coding" is a concern to me.

Running, getting far, hiding most of your character, etc. have mostly no effect on the NPCs.
The accuracy of the SMG Raiders is not credible a second.

IMO it's too late to see any chance on that anyway.

Why cant they just drop dead at the sight of me .. I am the Juggernaut b'itch!

    I totally agree with OP.

What I'd like to see to balance it all out, is that the enemy shots do more damage, but they don't hit as often. I agree that it's bunk that as soon as any part of me comes out of cover, I'm already getting lased.

And the worst is the 1000m grenade throws that ALWAYS land right on my feet.
