    its a catchall term. I use bucks for anything used as currency. I'm actually in Japan, but still call my money 'bucks'. Cant help I was raised in the states.

    Yeah but quite a lot of people dont want to pay for what they will see as a demo.

    Don't get me wrong, I dont have an issue with having to preorder to get into a beta. My issue with this thread is the way people just instantly put the OP down.

    lol. I'm the same. When i was based in Germany we used to call Euros 'bucks'...or Monopoly money

    I always call our yen monopoly money..it looks just like it to me, compared to the usd.

    IMO, having all the currency denominations the same size and the same color (I'm looking at YOU, USA) leads to risk and confusion. He in Denmark, I would NEVER confuse a 50 DKK note with a 500 DKK note.

    put 50$'s and 100$'s are made of plastic now, clear bits on them too, and braille, pretty hard to mix them up now...and they're different colours.
