    Time for a break.

So I'm at around 3500 EGO, but I just can't be bothered anymore.

For around the last 2000 Levels I have felt like I have just been repeatedly doing the same stuff over and over again and I grow tired, for me it's time to put down the controller and call it a day.

I did like Defiance a lot when it was fresh, but one can only take so much repetition - I play games for fun and honestly it just isn't fun anymore.

I might play again when they release new DLC, but I'm not sure if I will be willing to invest any more money into this game because I was so disappointed in what was given on the game disc itself, I'm assuming the DLC will just not be enough to keep me entertained for very long at all. Plus the fact that I'll probably end up playing something else, this could be farewell! Who knows.

Was a fun ride, especially these forums (lol).

Good luck and have fun guys!

I think you burned yourself out. I mean I've been playing almost every day but damn 3.5k ego thats some hardcore playing. A break sounds good but i would check back every so often in case of an episode mission. (God forbid you miss one then start to jump down peoples throat for missing it.)

That's what happens when you want to be on top. You burn yourself out, and then look for pitty from others.

Grinding Mine 99 or certain rampages/challenges will do that... Which is why I like to break monotony by doing stupid things, like nothing but melee for an entire day. Still, take a break, and if you haven't yet... Get to the island south of San Fran before you leave. It's nice over there

Wow 3500? That's insane. I'm only 1.2K and feel burned out. Mostly running missions, arkfalls and PvP for fun now, but getting sick of that too.

We need more incentives to do PvP and arkfalls.

Sounds like you got your money's worth in playtime. Great thing about no monthly fees, you can take a break and come back whenever. Or not.

    Have fun out there!

I don't mind the repetitiveness so much, it's the lack of progression. I had the same thing in Star Wars: The Old Republic, did everything I could in the Codex then waited for them to fix the bugged Codex entries, but they didn't so after 8 weeks I called it a day and never went back.

Basically, Trion need to fix these bugged Pursuits asap, what with Destiny et al looming, otherwise I know for sure what I'll be playing when Destiny arrives. I bet I have to pull the right trigger a lot in that one too, I'm just crossing my fingers it'll be for a good reason.

I must admit I agree with you, I never got my game till the 11th due to Amazon not receiving the UE's on time. That said though I to am suffering the boredom off the end game. I personally dont class Defiance as a full MMO due to the fact there are plenty of the MMO mechanics missing. By the end of the game on most other MMO's Id be expecting to atleast be still raiding and still gaining some better gear, on Defiance we dont have that luxury of raids and better gear. Sure we get arkfalls and pvp but the gear we get makes little or no difference due to the gear system being completely odd. There needs to be more to do after the end of the story....

When you are grinding out 3500 on a game it's not going to be fun. All those hours wasted when you could have learned to play guitar, went the gym, read some books etc...or here is a thought... play another game. What's going to be your epitapth? 'I was really good at video games'. That's a worthwhile achievement in life.
