    Defiance is either an MMO, an MO, or a very elaborate Turing test being done on a very large scale. I'm gonna go with the first one.

I love the game as it is but as we all are noticing once we get to end of the story and have played on for a while we are all suffering the boredom of the End Game. In a usual MMO we would still be grinding gear and still have plenty to do despite being at the End but for Defiance being "huge" we don't have any of that. I think someone really dropped the ball.
    You're playing within the first two weeks of the game. There has not been one content patch since the game launched. That's cool that you absolutely blew everything out of the water as fast as possible but that just leads to having to wait for the next content patch.

    I played hackz and this is far too harsh. In fact I logged onto my warz account yesterday and it is far more bugged than this game.
    Personally I've enjoyed playing defiance, there are some buggy issues, but most aren't gamebreaking so far for me. New episode missions every week I think are needed and I would love to see freight yard come back.

    AngryJoe made a good review of the game. It's average on all points. But it got a potential, as the background is rich.

    The lead gameplay designer should be dropped, imho. How in 2013 you can offer challenges and side quests...

    They were in a hurry, that's the only thing I can say to defend the current content.

    I think it's time to point out facts to most of you.

    MMO = Massive Multiplayer Online

    RPG = Role Playing Game.... This is not exactly a "rpg."

    It's more like a 3rd person shooter story-driven evolving world.

    Technically speaking it could be an MMORPG, but since we're talking about "mechanics" like a few of you turds bought up... Lets be honest. You don't like the mechanics because it isn't WoW or RIFT or SWTOR. Get over it. Would it kill you to give a new concept in next-gen MMO's a chance?

    I honestly thoroughly enjoy the idea of it being 3rd-person shooter/action MMO. It's new and fresh in comparison to most of the so-called "mmo's" out there. WarZ was terrible, is terrible, and always will be. End of discussion on that game. Bringing up hammerpoint interactive is like bringing up religion. You just don't do it.

    Now: Stop the crying and start the acknowledgement that you bought a game that has a lot of promise and will eventually deliver.

    What do you mean the map isn't huge!! The problem is you can only play in about a quarter of it.

    No he didn't blow through anything fast as possible, pretty much everyone in my clan is done with the questlines in the game - and the world is tiny. Can fanboi defend it up all you want it is what it is - small.

    Contrary to popular belief, deep player stat progression is NOT a necessary element to an RPG. Defiance IS exactly an RPG, it just isn't the D&D model.
