the "good guys" are all normal humans, with some basic fundamentals of humanity in them.

the tech heavy scientists are hairless (asians)

By the way, Sensoths aren't menial laborers, actually, that's the Liberata (who are more of a cross between dwarves and Volus than anything else I can think of).
