can you revive people?

I'm just wondering IF you can revive people? IF you can, a lot of people who play this game SUCK.
I've come from playing BF3 where people actually help, yes helping people play the game.
I hope I wrong and you can't revive as i'm enjoying playing (all be it alone)
just wish people were more friendly and wanted others to join and help.

If you are not in a group together, it is hard to notice someone who is down if you are in a major arkfall or something. I do, however, notice people clearly seeing me and not picking me up. smh

You can revive people, just run up to a downed comrade and press and hold X button. There's a couple of reasons why people might not be reviving you: A lot of times, especially during Arkfalls, people get "tunnel vision" and don't notice downed players. Until there's some sort of symbol for all down players like there is for down group members this will continue to happen. Another reason is that a lot of time you're down reviving, getting hit by enemy fire and losing out on kills/damage the person you're reviving just hits self-revive and completely blows your effort. This can have an effect on people going out of their way to revive. Personally whenever I see someone go down during an Arkfall I usually see at least 2 or 3 people running to them to revive so you might not be noticing this or you're maybe self-reviving before someone can help.
If you fall during a mission and there's another player in the area sad to say but you can't count on them coming to your aid, at least not right away. This is because enemies have insane accuracy and reviving you might cause them to go down too. The revive period has been upped to 90 seconds I believe so you have plenty of time to get help but most people are much too impatient to wait the full time and either just self-revive or extract.

Only issue in BF3 is that when people revive you, they rarely clear out the enemies across the way that just took you down first, lol.

That's probably Shadow War which is PvP and there's too much to risk trying to revive someone, especially since like I said in my above post, players will probably self-revive and you're left hanging and probably going to get jacked by some cloaked shotty.

Guild wars 2. Before you can even fall down you have some one smacking you in the face with a defib.

Also, that was also super annoying in BF3. getting downed in an obvious choke point only to be revived by some nub then immediately mowed back down to floor land. complete waste of time. lol

Maybe they thought you was the nub for getting mowed down in an obvious choke point in the first place...
