I finished my download in about an hourProblem is I'll be at work when the beta launches! :/
=[ =[
Still waiting for the email, the way I'm lucky is well able to receive after finishing the beta.
Wow, now posting this is even that much worse, literally. I see so many happily and boastfully (and rightfully so I reckon) saying they got their beta email. After the long waiting game that I myself also went through and the craziness it was bringing about, I honestly and literally kind of don't feel as excited... nothing to do with the game, but more with the other people waiting. In all due honesty, if there were a way for me to share my beta with the rest of you, I'd love to be able to. Meaning, yes, I just now got my beta email. Hang in there peeps... I know the waiting game drives you crazy... but remember the saying, "a watched pot never boils". Go watch some TV shows, or play some other games, keep yourself pre-occupied, and before you know it the beta email should show up... it'll help pass the time better without having to let it drive you so crazy. Again, I really wish I could magically share my beta with the rest of you still waiting.
EDIT: It seems MalconBR just got theirs... making them disqualified from this post's empathy.
On a side note, due to either the number of people downloading, or due to server hops, I'm pulling roughly 400k-800k/sec (fluctuating)... the update looks like it'll take about 4-7 hours.(Just did a speed test: clocking 6.7Mbps -- so at least I know it's directly my end... but could be something somewhere in between.)

Sweet, I'm still fiddling with the same game-pad issue I had. I figure at the very least, the left stick is reversed... so I can either use that as a flight-stick motion (up to move backward, down to move forward), or the d-pad works normal (just have to kind of reach around the thumb-stick, lol).
(If anybody knows the registry values to hard-code invert the y-axis [left-stick] of a game-pad [since it does it in every single game], I'm all ears!I already tried the controller configs... only has option to calibrate, not invert sadly. It's an old PS2 gamepad [the one with the keyboard pad attached by Nyko] connected to USB by means of an adapter.)
