Ok, so I'm playing co-op last night, and some dude is talking about his court case with some woman he knows, and she's fighting with him about some kid. This is going on throughout the mission, and I'm typing, "guy with the baby screaming in the background, you probably want to mute your mic." I'm just waiting for the first Trion wiretap lawsuit or something because some clown didn't realize his conversation was being broadcast to, well, everyone... but it got me thinking, what have YOU guys overheard when someone left their mic on? :-)

And, oh, sniffling, coughing, heavy breathing, and belching don't count...

(Also, based on a few posts below, I should add - please don't personally ID someone if you know who they are. This is all in good fun. I know some of you can't help yourselves, but don't troll.)

Well while in a co-op i heard an argument with a guy and his girl.

Wife or Gf i dont know. It was GF agro or Wifey Agro in full effect. He tried to cloak and Decoy but she never fell for it.

So by the end of the instance It was only a swear cussing fest of fury and threats of domestic violence.

I didn't know which was more violent by the end. the game or the commentary of this couple.

The fact the guy was able to take 3rd overall with the agro i should have praised him for not afking the whole thing.

Its to bad people dont date or marry those who share similar interest, especially gaming.

Thankfully my wife plays Defiance with me.. and no she has no sisters that are single.

I got to listen to 10 minutes of a one sided phone conversation.

"Baby I love you"
"I didn't mean it"
"I wish you could understand"

guy didn't see us all in party chat telling him we could hear either. Went on til I turned off voice chat

One of my first co op maps was narrated by some guy who went on for maybe 15 minutes about why he doesn't heal black people.

I hate the Voice chat thing in this game .... people talking to others in the background and don't care there mic is on
people eating .....mic on
crying babies .............MIC ON
I just mute the world
The voice auto detect in the PC version of this game hurts it more then helps it IMO

I listened to some guy in area chat yelling at his kid to put something in trash.. he ignored my tells.

My favorite is this guy who was doing a livestream, I sent him a tell saying we could all hear him and he goes "OH! - before I turn it off everyone around me join me on twitch".

I swear that shtako went on for like ten minutes straight.

Oh, and a couple of days ago there was a stoner in Explosions 101 co-op who was crying tears of frickin' scarlet about the rest of us "CoD 12 year olds" who never use mics. It took all of my will power not to plug mine in and remind him his type of personality is one of many reasons why most people avoid conversations with randoms at all costs.

This thread is major win.

The other day someone kept saying things to themselves like "nice," "ha! Gotcha!" Normal things i sometimes say outloud too to my self. Another was like "oh MAN" bc he must have died or something.

Then omg loool he goes, "aaahhhhhhoooooooooooouuuuuuuuuu, don't DO THAT OMG." someone must have scared the balls off him. I thought something in game scared him which woulda been funnier but then i discerned it was a friend or something.
