Convince me to buy defiance!

Hello,

I recently got interested in this game and decided to look for a beta key for the pc version. However, I was unable to secure one and I eventually downloaded the ps3 beta being a ps plus+ owner. I played it for about an hour before I had to leave for personal matters.

From this 1 hour, I felt the combat was definitely meatym the guns sound great and they hit hard. Customization is reasonable and the world looks interesting. However I do forsee it becoming some sort of a grind.

I would really like to hear the opinions of people who have spent a reasonable time with it. Is it good? Bad? Average? How will the game be like in the later levels? From what I read and gather, gone are the tanks.. dps.. healers. Any word on end game yet?

I might drop the cash on the digital deluxe edition on steam.. if that's wise. Hopefully you guys can be frank but yet convince me to purchase this game.

Some mmos I've played previously : World of Warcraft, Guild Wars 2, Ragnarok Online, Perfect World and Aion.

Get it!

If you like a TPS and Like playiong with People, Like dynamic events and running bad guys over with cars. Like pvp, like dungeons, like missions, like outfits.

Get the game.

Its not a monthly subscription so you will get your $59 out of it if you play through the story line alone.

Like the posters above said. Just wait until the NDA is lifted. Everyone will have a much better idea of the game at that point and you will find a lot more info on the game

First of all, thanks for all the replies here. I'm glad the community is so supportive of this game. It's definitely a plus for me.

I was not aware of an NDA in place. I guess I'll be waiting and looking out for how the critics are going to rate this game. Thank you all for bringing this to my attention.

One of the major downpoints of me going solo into an MMO is that I do not know anyone and my friends aren't keen to try out MMOs. But I'm glad this can be done in single player.

I'm planning to sink more time into the ps3 beta today and form my own impression. I'll be reading up on the reviews and stuff as they come too
