    difficulty spike?

all the way up to around level 500 i have enjoyed the challenging gameplay on offer, however since getting to 500+ i seem to be getting pwned by all mobs again. is this difficulty spike an actuality or am i just getting worse?
and it also seems to take longer to earn lockbox tokens? whats the deal?

There is no difficulty based on ego levels. Mutants > raiders > 99ers > dark matter is the order of the enemy getting "stronger" though.

Is it better to out-monster the monster or to be quietly devoured?

Depends on what you mean, I know Dark Matter is a giant jump up from the 99ers we were fighting just before them.

He's right. At least it seems that way. Go back to Earth Republic Camp after finishing up with Nim and stuff. Those dudes are no pushover. You'd think they would be one-shotters, but they're not.

The hungry alligator faces the bigger meal. Mutants < Raiders < 99ers < Dark Matter. If your intent was for them to be arrows, you should have put an equal sign in front of them like so: Mutants => Raiders => 99ers => Dark Matter.

Not that big of a jump. 99ers have significantly less health but essentially the same shield. I find Gold Rushers to be tougher than Monitors, when they're supposed to the equivalent class of enemy.

Avoid areas with AFKers. I went to an area event solo, with about 6 AFKers outside the gate, and the event spawned elites.

Different weapons with different nano effects, I noticed bio effect redrum the 99'er like it's no body's business.
