I think it would be a novel idea to include a push to talk option if possible. I for one am not a big fan my mic always being on since I have an infant who occasionally sets my background on fire to get my attention.

It would be a good implementation if there will be voice channels in game, but my friends and I will probably be using teamspeak 3 for communication like usual, which has it. For some reason it just seams more stable then most in game chats to me anyway
I like me some skype, and on 360, party chat.
