    Push to talk could be helpful on the pc, as many games with voip uses push to talk, though most console games do not use this idea. I could really like to have it so I can blare my music without people complaining that they hear my music.

    Indeed. I remember playing TDU2, they had always-on voice chat.
    It was a problem when people didn't know that others could hear them... The things I've heard...

    yea, push to talk..meaning not having to listen to 'playas yappin on the phone', babies cryin, momas smackin the crap out of the kidos cause they on the game past 7pm...or the really, really kool ppl who blast music in background thinkin everyone in the game gives a f**k what they listen to....etc etc. open mic is for coop or clan wars. And for those who say just mute em...they MAY end up once in a while calling sumthin of importance out, and if muted, u'd miss it. push to talk with 10 sec max yappin time and 5 second re-keyup. ftw....
