2 days in a row: "collect crap from mobs in delta bunker" 5 runs a day, 10 runs in 2 days...i do not use aoe weapons (i like to play with the weapons i like) and thus, i am affected by the tag system, doing something in world and others getting credit for that also...does not affect me, so why punish players that actually play the game on the count of some leechers that i for one don't mind?

I agree with you, I never had a problem if someone got xp for being near my mission that I was running. There have been several times I've gotten xp or had quest updates because someone was running one near me. I'm not sure who was complaining about free xp, but seriously? Now everyone is in the Shtako and groups and clan mates can not share in your quest.

I personally think they need to remove that from the patch, I enjoyed it more when everyone was getting a little bit of something from what I was doing and also enjoyed it when others were sharing with me. And I know I'm not the only one thinking along these lines. So please Trion no more Shtako, just revert that portion of the patch back.

One of the few things that i enjoyed about Defiance has been removed..awesome. I always used to tell friends that Defiance is one of those games where you won't be sad to see players around you but now it is a different story.

Isn' there a co op mission in Delta Bunker? Just shoot it all once.

Just tested and it's not even a contribution problem. Did some 1 shot kills on enemies not in combat but got no contract update.

The new system actually discourages group play and makes me HATE seeing other players. I am sure this is not the desired intent.

Worst change ever. I hope they fix this soon. I'm with everyone else in that I don't really care if people want to stand around and leech or not. The trade-off isn't worth it.

just feel fortunate people can't run epic trains on you in this game when you're after the same mobs. it's a horrible thing to do, but after a few attempts and failures I would resort to that classic tactic, as I'm certain half the playerbase would lol. they really need to remember the emphasis on cooperative pve content, and not make the playerbase resent one another over the simplest tasks. this is 2013, the pvp can be compartmentalized easily and was from launch until this travesty. I haven't gone for most things as I haven't been on much for a bit, but the delta thing was the only one i had trouble over since it was all I went for, and it took me 5 or 6 tries that night. the first time I did that daily, I got most of the optics stuff ont he first run, the second was just to pick up the final 3 I needed. going from nearly in a single run, to 6 runs is a pretty major difference, and i could only do 2 runs in a row, a couple of times I had to break it off to do arkfalls and pvp matches for the echelon so I wouldn't get bored and say screw the delta daily altogether. the last , one, single optic for that daily I got immediately into my SIXTH run, I was so sick of the instance I was considering dropping out on my team early into it just since I was relieved to finally have it over with, I didn't drop out, but tried to hurry my way through it.

I would come back in wow just as i saw myself getting canned plenty of times far too often. 15 minutes is NOT enough, especially when we do not log back in at the exact same psot we logged out from. If I had to run back that many times, I can guarantee you i would end up looking for a bot or macro I could use just to avoid that when I have to take a bad shtacko or something. people get up at times, generally i fast travel to a safe point and stand around a vendor when I plan to be up for a bit, when I know I'm gonna be up longer than 20-30 minutes I usually log out there, but there are times when people don't see it coming and also think we'll only be pulled away for a few minutes and it ends up being much longer for various reasons. I usually hide somewhere I won't be hit if I plan to be back within a few minutes, but a few times I forgot about it, or was kept up for longer than I expected. I can handle running back on the rare occasion I'm ganked while up, shtacko happens. but if I had to run back constantly on days when I had to be up a lot, well I'd start looking for a bot is all I can say. you don't want to encourage people to do that, the temptation to not waste it by hardly using it would be ther,e not to mention the leisure, but if people were given reasons to develop them, they'll be developed. they're not just used to farm game currencies, they're used to afk. if they implement such ahorribly low timer, they need to stop extracting people when they're logged out. not to mention i'd lose credit on things, and with this gay tagging system, I want credit where credit is due if I've put a lot into a gig, and if I lose it all form being disconnected because of idiots begging for it, after having to deal with the gay tagging system once again from idiots begging for it, you can bet your butt I'd be looking for a decent bot to make up for it. some people do not glue ourselves to the screen the way you apparently do, and need to get up and stretch at the very least, not to mention eat, piss, ****, shower, and get pulled away to deal with other things sometimes. 30 minute idea someone had makes sense for the most part, as I said I usually log out when I know I'm gonna be gone that long, no point in leaving it on and I'm usually fast-travel parked anyways in those cases. I was actually surprised when i came back over an hour later once, and was still sitting on my vendor dumpster. I would be just as shocke dif I couldnt get up for 14 minutes when sudden sh*ts hits me without having a panick attack and running through the house as if I were being chased by a tyranosaur jsut to make sure I didn't get screwed out of some bs in the game though. because unlike for you, Diarrhea & sh*tting myself in my seat is not an option. have fun with that though. that would make it bot time. guilt-free. and I've never used those before in any online game. I do appreciate the opportunity to be nostalgic though, with the new tagging system. hearing people moan about killstealing, watching them do stuff then running in while they're distracted and taking away all their hard work and camping. I actually think we need a 10, or even 5 minute disconnection timer, with extraction of course afterwards. it'll make the game more challenging to anyone who actually gets up to do somehting else sometimes. reminds me of this 24/7 wow overgrown kid I saw on doctor phil once, i don't even think he needed to remove waste form his system or put any source of fuel into it. remarkable.

Apparently the game wasn't already in enough trouble, so they just had to find one more way to make the game just not worth playing.

You know what? If people stand around doing nothing and get credit, who the heck really cares? If they have time to code a system that ensures that some minimum participation per minute is required to continue to enjoy shared credit, that's fine. Short of that, it's something they just should never, ever have touched. In who's book is it better for people who actually play the game not to get shared credit, just to ensure some afk bozo doesn't get any?

Back to the main point, given all the much more serious issues with the game, who would ever have decided to devote even 5 seconds of development time to a "fix" like this?

The ship is sinking. Any "fix" that has even the slightest chance of further degrading the play experience for people trying to get some enjoyment from the game should be shelved with out more time spent on it than the time it takes for the lead developer to say "no".

The positive reinforcement the game provides for maintaining continued play is already almost non-existent. Even the slightest disruption to the ability of players to find something worth playing here could implode the game. I honestly wouldn't nerf anything at this point, no matter how much sense it might make to the developers. Fixing game disrupting issues, ensuring that tie in content is delivered on time and in a playable state and finding ways to make the game more fun/rewarding should be the only thing you work on for the next three months.

The game falls short of so many minimum MMO expectations that the only strategy that makes any sense is to do everything possible to make sure the game remains fun for those who still enjoy it and increase the level of fun so that maybe people who left until the game is closer to complete will have game play worth returning for.
