    Defiance store theft?

    Hi,

    Purchased a clan scrip boost at 21:30 GMT and it hasn't come on. You have taken the bits but not given me the boost. Went to fill out another bug ticket about this and see that a previous issue had been closed with no real resolution which irritated me but that was about key codes.

    Anyway the point of purchasing the boost was so we could benefit while we play until this time tomorrow and get optimum use of it. Clan friends are away tomorrow so turning it on in 5hrs while none of us know about it and then the probability that most may not be coming on tomorrow renders the purchase worthless.

    i want to know where my boost is. If you are having issues providing the service surely you should take down the facility to buy the boosts. I would like a refund for the bits and you can keep the boost until I re-purchase. Or is it hoped that people will shrug it off because of the cost being minimal?

    I appreciate that the title is harsh but at the end of the day that's what it is, and with another friend saying he still has a ticket open for the same issue makes me dubious that something will be done.

    Unfortunately, due to the nature of the Tickets system, they won't even be aware of it's existence until they have gone through and responded to all tickets submitted before yours. I am sure that as long as you have explained in the ticket the key information shown here then they will likely refund the Bits for the purchase but most likely won't refund the actual payment made. But you will have the Bits available for when you next have the perfect opportunity to get the boosts.

    I do agree with you about them needing to disable parts of the store however, seen many threads started where there have been issues related to the store. Can only imagine how many support requests they can remove from the list due to the problems with the store if they just temporarily disabled it! Best of luck anyways.

    Yeah I get that there is loads of tickets, and there are bugs, but I'd categorise one that is effectively stealing as a priority. I'm not actually after the cash so to speak, I'd happily take the in game bits back and I'll purchase when it's fixed. But there is no way they should have the boost part of the store enabled if it is not working correctly.

    No doubt you will get your Bits back. Agree with your completely and sympathize for the opportunity lost. Yes, it is a priority but so are many other things and they have a computer sort it into what the dev team will see next. Trouble with the store is that having it online and being used is really the only effective way to catch the bugs that come with it. I would just suggest that you don't purchase anything more for a while so that you don't end up as one of the "guinea pig tests"

    Yeah I'm just a bit annoyed, I have purchased some cosmetic items and hat was all fine. It's just this boost, and if I'd of known the store was playing up I wouldn't of purchased the boost.
