Not a very thought out patch...
I am referring to the latest patch that addressed contribution I understand that people leeching was a problem but having to run through co-ops and when a group acting like I am John Rambo is very detrimental to an MMO.
As it stands now in order to get credit for a kill you have to tag that mob this causes me to instead try and help my group complete the dungeon to just spray random bullets everywhere and hope that I can tap each mob in order to get credit for the kill, this is a completely ridiculous concept.
I would prefer that we use the old system with people being leeches rather than the current system, that does not convey a feeling of team work.
Team work is the benchmark for which an mmo should be judged, if it is not present then all you have is a single player shooter with random pixels running around instead of other people. I actually get more satisfaction doing solo missions in SWTOR with my companion than I do in a group of 4 others atm.

Should just put it back the way it was, who cares if someone gets undeserved credit, all they are ultimately doing is ruining the game for themselves... oh well.

I completely agree I am on my fourth straight run of Liberate the Lost and I am really starting to not even feel like playing anymore.
P.S. This instance quit being fun about the 40th time I went through it even though the pincer cut scene is priceless

Is any dev, mod or anyone from Trion even paying attention to this issue? Can't believe you would honestly think that a free for all grindfest is better than a few leechers. You do realize this eff'd up all the co-ops right? Jeez nice going for the first month. Anything else you want to ruin?

I was really surprised when I heard they did this. HORRIBLE idea. Hell their brothers at RIFT even just changed it so that everyone who participates gets credit for a kill, no more tagging. And it was one of the biggest things people were happy about!

I agree. If anything at least change it so when you're in a group, the kill goes towards everyone in the group... At least that would make sense to be in a group. Now all a group is good for is quick spawning. Such a shame. I hope they put it back the way it was. Tagging inside a group is just ridiculous.

I went through liberate the lost today before work to try and get contract done. Ned 20 scopes from snipers instead of the 1/2 time run through for all 20 I got 2 scopes in 4 runs cause people just sprayed with faster weapons. I couldn't tag them fast enough.

I'm very much in a "ain't nobody got time for that" state after seeing this change. I'm not running LTL five times to finish my daily, or being the ******* that solos the instance while everyone else tries to catch up.
