It less exp, (2000 per mission only), and less rewards (one random item). But if you just want to shoot stuff while you wait for them to fix stuff, add contents or for the next game to be released, its ok

That's not true at all. I've gotten up to 3,500XP for some missions and one random weapon is actually better. I've gotten tons of blues and purples that replaced my current weapon. I totally think it's worth it. You get to replay the best missions in the game, while getting a decent amount of XP and a chance at rare loot, plus keys.

I have found it quite enjoyable to replay back through the story line. Personally I kind of wish I could choose which missions I wanted to play and even be able to repeat those same ones if I wanted but I could see how they could maybe be exploited that way.

I agree some of the later ones give more then 2000exp, you must have some good luck on rolls, as I never got a purple on my second run though. Did get lots of blues thos.

I've been completely through twice now. It was a good way to farm keys, increase weapon xp, and occasionally find really good loot. Also it was quick XP.

A few things about replaying though.

Once you start repalying it shuts out any uncompleted side missions.

Some side mission event areas (a few, not many) bug out not allowing you to do that event for the location because the game thinks you are not qualified for it yet.

The random item is random, can be from green to a purple. Think of a one item lockbox.

You will see how short the main story line actually is.
