Then how do I get new weapons to level skills/ pursuits? The only things I ever get as drops are snipers detonators and infectors... None of which I need.

lol if you're on PS3 I can give you a bunch of white weapons that constantly drop for me. My inventory is almost always full from white weapons/nades.

add me I'm not home so I'm checking this from my phone but I'll take any white lmgs off your hands. After I finish those I'm done with the specific weapon grinding and things should ease up I hope

really the only weapons i keep are the weapons i use. the wolfhound pistol (i believe its called) i have modded with decent barrel, mag, and butt, the gun Nolan gives you before he and Irisa leave, the ground pounder detonator, just currently picked up an smg that i like but the name escapes me, the deadbolt sniper rifle (love it), and what i reckon is called the...something...SAW? whatever, its an LMG thats 119 rounds depending on the mag mod you attach, the shields i interchange depending on how good the next one i pick up is, and that grenade that blows up twice. everything else i sell sell sell until thats all i have left. increase your inventory slots and pick up every damn thing that drops and sell it. you'll up your scrip game in no time. oh and do those dame side missions. they're not there for no reason dude.

I have been done with side missions for 2 weeks

Coincidentally when I ran out of side missions is when I started having money woes....

Throw in lock boxes and vehicles on 500 specials and yeah there is a lot to buy... Plus I rarely get any drops other than whites so I don't find much to sell
stop buying weapons just farm them in co-op matches, stop buying mods use your keys for synergy mods from lockboxes and sell the ones you don't use. level your weapons that you find same with modding them then sell them for 1-4k depending on its quality. sell all grenades and shields you don't use. don't salvage, unless its to clear inventory, you will get plenty of resources. don't retrieve mods its a waste of salvage. save your salvage to put mod slots on Legendary or Artifact weapons that you really must hold onto. good luck.

I have noticed different mobs drop different types of weapons. investigate the co-op maps and keep track of what drops. after you did that you will have a good idea where to farm. scavenger mods and perks don't hurt either.
