What type of infector is the best to lvl up the skill?

what type of infector is the best to lvl up the weapon skill? not a fan of them, just want to lvl up the skill for the pursuits.

My favorite is the Canker, although I know some people aren't a fan since it doesn't make the bugs unless they die.

Someone mentioned that the damage from bugs doesn't contribute to weapon exp, so I would guess Canker as well.

The Canker. I think I had every single type when the time came I wanted to level them and the Canker was far superior.

I'm not a huge fan of infectors either, but out of all of them the Canker is the one I choose to use. Rather than spawning bugs, the damage over time is greater. It's how you would imagine those giant puss balls that form on your target to ache like hell. :P Hopefully those are more tolerable for you. Plus, you still get some bug damage when the current target dies.

I'm a huge Canker fiend, but atleast for me, the invader seemed to level it faster. For what reason I'm not sure.
