Guys saying its beta you need to stop using it as an excuse for the graphics, it really wont get much better then it currently is IF it does get better at all.

That being said the graphics aren't bad, they're not great but not bad either. About what I would expect from non-pc mmo's.
Hell, there are single player games I can think of that look worse.

it is a beta. its a 2 month old beta. graphics are already improved for launch. greatly.

These PS3 graphics of this game make my eyes bleed! Im hoping they get better cause they are god aweful!

it is a beta. its a 2 month old beta. graphics are already improved for launch. greatly.

I don't buy that, with current console limitation with the addition that its an mmo I can't see it looking amazing.
Sure final build could be improved, cleaner textures, newer higher polygon models, add textures that are missing, but its not gonna be a stunning looking game.

You can already see that with their pc beta/alpha.

Is it a stunning looking pc game? No.
Is it a stunning looking console game? No.

But as I keep referring back to, its not a BAD looking game either, it looks fine, final build probably will look nicer, but its not going to be a humongous leap.

I actually like the graphics. Sure the character's look weird when talking (btw, you can see it in the Twitch.tv streams. I'm still a bit confused can I say anything about the beta?) but I'm pretty amazed how well the textures keep up when speeding with an atv!

For me graphics have always been JUST extra. Sure it's cool when some game pushes the boundaries (of what I've experienced) but still gameplay + stuff to do comes before graphics.

How do you know that? Yes.. A lot of things can and do change in only a couple of months, but I highly doubt the graphics will be improved. If they're improved, I hardly doubt it's anything really noticeable.

Yeah.. It's pretty bad, BUT, who knows what happens when we have the actual disc + install. I think this won't be as much as of a problem in the full release.
