Yeah.. It's pretty bad, BUT, who knows what happens when we have the actual disc + install. I think this won't be as much as of a problem in the full release.

Yeah, DCUO had this problem for maybe, 2-3 weeks after launch, but then a patch got released that fixed it for the most part, and from what I have seen this game has way less pop in then DCUO did at the start so it should be fine.

How do you know that? Yes.. A lot of things can and do change in only a couple of months, but I highly doubt the graphics will be improved. If they're improved, I hardly doubt it's anything really noticeable..

Understand that the Beta version of the game you will be playing was submitted a few months ago along side us continuing development on the final game. The Beta versions of the game had to go through a certification process to be able to launch for users to play.

2 it is true any major releases, beta, games etc do take a long time to be vetted before they are aloud.

3 yes they are noticeable. NDA prevents anyone from talking specifics.

Wow, and I thought the graphics looked pretty much on-par with the Alpha. Now, the glitches...some of those are jaw-dropping, but haven't found one that is a game breaker or a deal breaker for me. And reporting glitches and bugs is what this Beta is all about.

1) That doesn't say anything whether the graphics are going to be better or not. I know what a beta is, I know how it's done etc etc, but full releases hardly ever improve on graphics compared to beta. That "it's a few months old" is mostly saying "yes, there are going to be bugs, glitches, but most of them have been fixed or aren't in the full release".

3) You can't know that. I'm pretty sure you haven't played the full PS3 release. You can't compare it to PC either. About NDA.. I'm in Alpha & Beta (PC/PS3), so you can PM me if you want.

Anyway.. I'm not complaining. I'm enjoying the game. I just doubt the graphics are going to be improved. It might look a bit better, running the game of the Disc+HDD, with the full game running instead of just a part of it, but I doubt it will make a huge difference.

Nothing against Borderlands, but I can only play Borderlands for so long... one because it's first-person (even if you can modify BL1 to go into a TPS setup), and two because it looks quite cartoony. its a beta. not only is it a beta, but this is 2 months old, i can tell you 100% things are vastly improved for launch already. but because of the consoles certificated process (tkes months for sony/microsoft to check software before they allow it)

It's not always because it's not "real enough" but for me i don't like bl graphics at all and it's just because i don't, it has nothing to do with realism. cellshaded graphics just lack depth.
