Hacked - lack of response to tickets

First time posting since the beta for the game, sadly not about anything cool with the game but because i logged in the other day and all my script was gone and so were all but 9 of my weapons.

I'm hoping that I by making a post on the forums I can get someone to look at my tickets and at least tell me if i've permanently lost everything or if something can be done.

I don't expect the defiance support team to be anywhere near as fast or responsive as some of the much larger MMO's but its been the better part of a week and there isn't so much as a "we have received your ticket and will be looking into it shortly" or anything.

And when i'm eager to get back to the game, do some PvP and complete the storyline quests.. its annoying to have to sit still and not do anything in-case i have to lose any progress i make post-hack.

If this isn't the right place to post this, sorry - Just direct me to the right place and i'll make another post there.

i'd recommend going to Trions live chat customer support if you can,,, at least then you're directly speaking to someone rather than waiting for a ticket on something so important....

Aye, forgot about live support - cheers, i'll be sure to try that route next ^^.

I was hacked as well... logged into live chat and within a few minutes was talking to GM..unfortunately they have to lock your account while they sort it out. I'm told normal turn around is 24 to 48 hours. I will let you know if it takes longer.

Makes sense that they lock the account, i've personally only logged in - checked the tickets, drove in circles for a few mins or left the game on in the background - checking the tickets every few mins.

Hope you can get your account restored and enjoying the game again soon then ^^.

The good news is that it only took about 8 hours for them to give me back my account. The bad news is that they dont have character back ups.. so they cant give you exactly what you had before. They were very helpful and gave me some loots based on my ego rating which was very cool of them. and all my scrip back.

Damn, that's a shame. At least I'm more concerned with the story missions and hackers don't exactly 'borrow' accounts to complete the game for you - then laugh as you don't get to enjoy finding stuff out

good to hear that they helped you out a bit though.
I only had like 40k script and 2 legendaries, i just want my upgraded ground-pounder (its such a good launcher ><)
