Defiance was one of our many projects in our community many of us Alpha tested.
I have been with the community of TFD for just over 2 years now.
We are a great group of awesome people with an average of 100 people online in our voice server on a given day. That number goes well over that at peak times.
We are a community of gamers for gamers with excellent support for all of our members with groups, leveling assistance, game support, and advice.
The most incredible thing that I like about TFD is the fact that we all, even with such a huge member base of just over 400 registered and active members, respect each other with gamers from all over the world from the US, to Canada, to the UK, to Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, Australia and back again. There is always someone on.

Origins of Clan Tactical Fleet Delta
TFD was an Important Special Forces Unit of Earth Gov and had established a base with troops in the thousands guarding and deploying important assets during the Pale Wars. They fought in the Pale Wars against the Votan.

After the Arkfall the war changed. With the rise of the Hell Bugs the war was no longer about Humans and Vortan, but about survival. With the introduction of the Hell Bugs Earth Gov Orders started to get Erratic and Irrational. The Base Commander started to disagree with many of the commands coming from the top seeing them as unjustified and immoral. After hearing about the Defiance Movement, the commander knew what he had to do. He had seen his men die by the thousands holding the base and its assets. The base nearly completely destroyed and most of its personnel killed, the commander made the call, defy the Earth Gov orders to hold and fight the Votan. Calling all remaining survivors to pack and ready to move to better lands. What the rest of the group did not anticipate is the commander also ordered all remaining living Votan prisoners to be released and armed to join them in the trek. Although most soldiers were willing to leave the Votans behind to be killed, they release all Votans prisoners and armed them as ordered. The Vortan mostly Children were unsure what was going to happen. But then the commander made it very clear what his intentions were going to be from here on. The commander gathered all the Humans and all the Vortan.

“Today the war between Human and Vortan ends. I have learned that the armies, both Human and Vortan have stopped killing each other and started helping each other survive this new world. You all know, that isn’t Earth out there anymore, and unless we work together WE ALL WILL DIE. We must now stand side by side Human and Vortan, we both lost mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, and daughters. But the past is the past, and we must let all of our differences go. Now to all you meat heads and pale MOTHER****ERS, it’s time to go to San Francisco. There I’m told that those limp **** hippies got the balls to band together to brave this new world. We will go there and show those ****ers what a real set of balls look like. We march through these new wastelands together. NOW LETS MOVE YOU MOTHER ****ERS WE AIN'T GOT ALL DAY.”

From there on both Human and Vortan Decided to work together to cross the wasteland.

The journey was hard and long. It took 10 years for the group to arrive at San Francisco, but the time they had arrived they had many stories to be told some sad,some happy, and many new members joined their ranks. In their travel they encountered many people both Human and Vortan, some which they help, and in return have joined the group. Other have decided to stay behind or go their own direction.

In the wasteland the Commander took many under his wing, teaching them how to survive. He took some of the younger members and taught them how to be tough to use weapons and to fight. He taught the group how they could rebuild a new world, he gave them hope for the future.

Once the TFD arrived at San Francisco they numbered in the hundreds, and they needed place to settle down. With the help of the commander and some of the older TFD members they located themselves and old Naval Manufacturing plant. They converted the plant into a small village where they could continue to teach people how to survive and at the same time a place where they can call home.

After a couple years the Commander left some of the elder members of TFD in charge as he said he had still things he had to do on his own, and that one day he will be back. He wandered off into the wasteland on his own never to be seen again to this day. However stories from time to time come back to the village. Where and old veteran pointed them in the direction to here in safety of the village. They have been stories of his actions out in the wilderness, of people that he has saved. However no one can recall where he is or where he is going.

TFD considers his the founder and father of the group and in his honor they always keeps an extra room ready for the old veteran that has taught them so much in life.
