Worst Development and Support in history of gaming

Title says it all.

My ingame support ticket hasn't gotten any love since the terrible downtime that happened on the 21st April which got my character bugged out to sh*t and all of my good weapons gone. I haven't actually played since. My Loadouts have been finally fixed but my weapons are still gone. I wouldn't complain if this was still Beta but it isn't.

I tried contacting Chat Support and apparently the damn thing doesn't work on any of my browsers. It either shows a blank page or pops a page request error. I went so far as to downloading Safari and Chrome and it still isn't working. Terrible development right there when you can't even get a hold of support unless you have a specific version of a specific browser.

I'm running low on patience here. If you claim to have such a big team of great members, prove it. Cause I don't see it. Sugar coating this disaster of a launch isn't gonna solve anything.

Even though there is some issues with the game currently, Main one I have is I for days now have been unable to get a clan invite, other than that I have had it running quite well. But to title it the worst development and support in gaming history to me means you dont play many games. I for one have a certain Zombie survival game which far exceeds any other games launch and support failure by miles.

I can remember when Rift went live, and there were issues everywhere, one thing I always liked about Trion was they worked on it fast, and patches were brought out and applied in quick speed, with as little downtime as needed. Many other MMO type games have had similar launches, I have been part of most of them these days.

Patience, or move on simple as that. But any other MMO type game released always has similar issues and I can see the same posts on the comming MMO released later this year. Just one vicious circle from MMO to MMO.

Compared to the months it takes BioWare to answer tickets in SWTOR, 5 days is a fairly short time.

I checked on google chrome aswell as torch.. both worked.. you might be using an incorrect link.. use this one instead

The chat client is Java driven so you have to have it enabled and not firewalled before it will work. Otherwise, it should easily work on IE, Firefox, or Chrome without issues.

As for the issue you've had with losing weapons, you might be better served if you opened a customer support ticket via e-mail and included as many details as you can recall as to what you lost. Also, keep in mind that since the MMO has just launched, the support team may not have all of their tools enabled to the point where they help immediately. A sad-but-true fact is that many MMO publishers do not always launch a full suite of support tools right when the MMO launches. If this is the case, while support may be able to review you logs and see your missing weapins or gear, they may not be able to recover them for some time. It all comes down to what access to the back-end they have and how much the support team is empowered to resolve these sorts of issues.

Which version of IE? I tried IE 8 but it bugged out on me.

I used this link: https://support.trionworlds.com/app/chat/chat_launch which doesn't work on Chrome (using Version 26.0.1410.64 m). It gives me a page request error.
I haven't heard of Torch before. I'll give it a try tomorrow when Chat Support is available again.

Seeing as how you mentioned Safari, are you attempting this on a Mac? If so, is your Java enabled? Apple has made it a point to disable Java to stop online attacks, so check that...

As for being the worst in the history of gaming... eye of the beholder on that one. I've played games so much worse than this on launch, that my Defiance experience has been fantastic so far (PS3 version though, so we never got the bad patch)... Shadowbane, Horizons... ugg... shoot, even EQ's start was crazy bumpy. Just gotta stick with it for a bit.
