I restarted my computer and it fix the problem so far its downloading the patch now. Hopefully installing the patch works fine.

I'm having the same problem, going to try the restart.
(It downloads fine, it's the installation part).

Just restarted, patcher crashed while installing patch with the following error: Patch Error, Please try again.

Same issues attempting to patch as well. First go round it simply went into a download and patch of nothing loop until it errored out with the already noted error. Rebooted the PC and now its "patching" but taking forever to do so.

Hey guys. I had the exact same issue and tried re downloading the patcher and everything. I'm not sure if this is a key factor but I kept trying to install the game into a destination of my choosing. Specifically a HDD other than my systems drive. In the end I got it working by installing the game into the default destinations that comes up on the installer, once I did this it worked first time.

I've lost track how many threads there have been now about this issue. Tech support has no idea how to fix it. I've been escalated to a Tier 3 tech and I've yet to even hear anything from them. It saddens me to see such a critical issue being ignored. Not even the devs or even Sledgehammer are even acknowledging it, which isn't a good thing at all.

Are they seriously still having that issue? I was hoping that problem would be solved seeing as I've had to deal with it each time I tried to download the game onto my computer. I'm eager to play this game, but I have not gotten past the download stage, and every time I try I get kicked from the patcher saying that there's a patch error and to try again later. All those long hours wasted on nothing but a damn error. I even pre-ordered this game and got my hopes up on a patch error that still seems to be a problem even nearly a month into this games launch. I'm kinda sad.

All my friends are on the Xbox though so I'm beginning to wonder if there's a chance that I can change this pre-order from the PC to the Xbox version.... I really don't want to throw away that kind of money. If not I'll have to ask for a refund.

Im having the same probelm and Im on the xbox. I dash board and restart but its still failing to patch.
