    Are infectors worth it?

What do u guys think? How do they compare to assault rifles or lmgs? I really like the anti sniper one but I still can't tell if it deserves a spot in my primary class over an assault rifle.

I think they're great, but I wouldn't replace your assault rifle with it.

My loadout with an IInfector has an Infector for the primary weapon, and an assault rifle secondary for more general purpose stuff.

Actually all my loadouts are like that: A specialized weapon for the primary and an Assault Rifle for the secondary.

They feel more like a gimmick than a real weapon. They may be useful in PvP, but in PvE I find just shooting something in the head with a regular gun to be faster.

I actually enjoy Infectors in PVE. Especially in Arkfalls. I'll empty the clip on larger enemies and, as bugs spawn from each enemy shot, I start racking up in the damage meter. It makes me feel I'm actually doing something more than just tunnel vision-ing Ark Fall Crystals. Further, outside of Ark Falls, I find they tend to be more useful on enemies without shields, such as Raiders and Scrappers. Anything else, as other posters responded, an Assault Rifle is great.
    I've got a fever...and the only prescription is...more cowbell!

If you have a decent shield they are awesome on cleavers too. If you don't then arkfalls definitely.

They're not bad in PVP either, at least not in Shadow Wars. Enough infection will blind your opponent.

I find them an interesting alternate to SMG's.

I find the infectors to be an awesome weapon. Especially when the bugs start going on a hunt.
