I suggest you learn what "patience" is, and how to type in http://www.defiance.com/en/, click the left box that says "Explore the Show" and read - you'll see that Hellbugs will be in episode 3.
Also, it should be noted, that Trion (or Syfy) NEVER gave exact details on when the game will influence the show and vice versa. You, and everybody else complaining about this, are doing it in vain. Seriously. The game has been out for almost a month, and the show for only two weeks - how can you possibly expect the two to coincide with each other (other than the premise of the two) that soon? Do you have any idea of what it takes to make a game, let alone a game that is supposed to tie in with a show? Probably not.
Also - I'm pretty damn sure that 99er's don't really exist in New St.Louis.
What's the point of this?
1.) The game wouldn't be an MMO if it were a direct, mirror image of the show.
2.) The game wouldn't be as awesome if it were tied in with the show from day one release (which is essentially what you're qq'ing about).
3.) Like I said, you need to learn patience and how to read.
My previous post was actually supposed to be a response to another post - so disregard it.

Yep, his got it correct in this post. It's only been three weeks for the game and two for the show. So anyone mind telling the rest of us just how fast their suppose to tie everything in together? Defiance is in St. Louis, we're in San Fran.
Give them time and they will tie everything together. And yes learn to read a few post.
Forget about MMO stuff. This is just a persistent third person shooter with some instances. If you remove the MMO thoughts you get on better.
And yes, I've been playing MMO's since 1998 so I do understand what one is and isn't. This isn't one and isn't social enough to be one.Its a single player game with persistent online tendencies lol.

You say that, but it was marketed as an mmo. So this weak excuse would justify a fast food chain marketing a "salad" as a "steak with persistant vegetarian tendancies." What's the point of the online tendencies if they have no benefit? So either its a sham or we'll end up having to buy the real mmo stuff as dlc.
Which I'd be fine wit, as there is no subscription fee. Just so long as it comes. Though as a chronic pessimist I will make my predictions about this games future.
#1: The only show tie-ins will be background mentions of the stuff you find in data recorders and the occasional character cameo in-game.
#2: There will never be any more in depth quests than "Go shoot some stuff with guns. Come back, then go do it again"
#3: There will be more product placement.
#4: The dlc will be more of the same, and expensive. Think Mass Effect 3 or Dragon Age 2. Rinse and repeat run and gun missions, and generic item packs. Oh and product placement packs. "Quick! Buy the Dr. Pepper mega laser gun! Only 20 dr peper bottle cap codes!"
#5: As soon as the jig is up they will shut the servers down and leave us high and dry.
Hopefuly I'm wrong. I'd love to have to apologise. I've just lost all faith in the industry. Colonial Marines, Sim City 4, ME 3, DA2, etc etc. The last MMO I played was Star Wars Galaxies
It's a shooter MMO - deal with it or leave, now Draw!
